Give MOS a QB and he will be a great coach. You want to see this team really fall apart? Fire MOS and replace him with LAPO. Firing MOS does nothing, it doesn't make Drew Willy a better QB. and it certainly doesn't make the team any better. I would guess it would make the team a whole lot worse actually... Yup, how much worse could it get people will say? Fire MOS and you will see how much worse it can get.

Funny thing tho about that last drive... If Willy actually hits dressler in stride, the bombers win the game more than likely... but Dressler who had watkins beat had to stop because the ball was... under thrown badly. If Willy could have hit dressler in stride, dressler walks in untouched.

I don't think he's referring to the end of the game, he's referring to the entire game. The O did pretty much nothing once again, they put up a touchdown, but it was on a play that was called back by a dumb hands to the face block, they got that ball at the 20 yard line of Edmontons... in the third quarter, bombers were inside Edmonton territory again, this time, Willy stared down his receiver and threw the ball in to triple coverage only to be intercepted, well with in field goal range. The game is not won and lost on 1 or 2 plays, it's won or lost throughout the game and there were plenty of examples in this game of Willy just not getting the job done when it mattered. Bombers had some pretty great field position at times and the O did nothing with it, Is it all on Willy? Nah, but throwing balls in to the dirt, under throwing receivers who are wide open and throwing interceptions in to triple coverage certainly is. Let's play the what if game, even though it wouldn't be like this but... let's pretend for a moment, the bombers kick a fg instead of it being intercepted by Sheritt in the 3rd.. Let's just pretend the rest of the game is even....that makes the score 20-19 Edmonton, so instead of having to go for the TD at the end, a FG would have won the game. It's just playing pretend but... in a way, you can say the play that perhaps cost us the game was Willy throwing in to triple coverage in the third cuz you'd assume that we'd have kicked a fg there.

Nah. The Esks have a legit QB. The bombers don't. If a QB can't complete a pass it don't matter what the OC calls. That interception when the bombers were in fg range in the 3rd quarter... in to triple coverage. That's all Drew Willy. Stared adams down the whole time.

I think it's pretty obvious that you need a QB who is somewhat mobile in the pocket. Willy isn't that guy. You look at Reilly or Collaros or BLM... you see guys who can escape pressure and use their legs to move the pocket. Willy is pretty much a statue back there. If I'm a d coordinator playing against Willy... I blitz all game long. A few weeks ago I said I'd give Willy 4 or 5 games until I make a judgment on him. It's been 4 games and with average quarterback play we are probably 2 and 2. The O with Willy has basically done nothing now for 4 games.

If that throw to dressler was on the money bombers win. Bottom line. Dressler was open for a moment but willy threw it behind him. If he hit dressler in stride like Reilly did with walker... that's a touchdown

He's making 400 K and is playing like a scared rookie. I think we are close to that stage

To be fair... willy looked very good the last 2 seasons when he was healthy. How were they supposed to know he'd be scared to throw deep.

Bombers had lots of pressure on Reilly all night really but he used his legs. Willy doesn't.

I don't think Nichols is the answer. But I don't see the harm in putting him in for a series or 2

He's not telling him to throw 5 yards. There are deep routes. They were either covered or willy didn't pull the trigger

Stands looked pretty full for a Thursday game. You know the difference between Mos and Maas and Dickenson. It's Drew Willy plays for winnipeg. You put Reilly or BLM on this team... we win more games.

You can blame the oline. I don't think they are a huge issue. You can blame receivers. Don't think they are an issue. Drew Willy tho. Skipping throws. Throwing in to triple coverage.Under throwing. It's on him. Bombers need to find a QB cuz willy ain't the guy anymore and no Nichols is not either

5 minutes to determine if the bombers could challenge that play. End result. Delay of game bombers. Took 5 minutes to determine it tho

I also have to wonder if maybe putting a time limit on when you can call a challenge would help the flow. Perhaps 5 or 10 seconds after the play.

Flag happy refs ruining the flow of the game. At some point they need to just let them play. I also get that the penalty to green was legit but really it had nothing to do with the end result on that play. It's the right call but is it necessary to make that call?
