I don't blame him for everything but the fact that you for that matter and Ducky refuse to actually blame Maurice for anything is ridiculous. He's the coach. He's the guy in charge of the on ice product. Either our players aren't good enough or Maurice isn't. Which is it?;

Special teams look exactly like they have during Maurice's tenure in winnipeg so... perhaps realize that it's Maurices system that Kompon is running. Is Maurice your dad or something cuz the Lengths you go to actually not blame him for anything at all is crazy

Really don't think Scheif would be considered a vet, he just kind of came in to his own last year, he still has some upside, I think i'd consider a vet a guy like Wheeler, Little, Buff, they are what they are and there really is no more upside for them, they are a known commodity, Scheif? He still has some room to grow i think. Vet? Hard to say, depends what you mean by Vet, but.. IMO a veteran player is what he is and there is very little to no more upside to that player, Is that Scheif? I don't think so.

I'm not sure Maurice will be fired anytime soon aka during the season but during the off-season? who knows, lots can change, who knows exactly, if a clear upgrade is available, you'd be foolish not to at least look in to their interest in coming here. Perhaps during the players interviews with Chevy, some of the guys on the team tell him they feel Maurice has run his course, you just don't know what could happen. I don't exactly think they are where they expected them to be, I'm not sure i buy that notion, i think they thought they would be pushing for a wild card spot, they are but have multiple games in hand on all those teams, so are they? I dunno exactly, The PP and PK is still struggling, there seems to be a lack of structure at times in their O and D zone play, these are issues, these are coaching issues, is it because they haven't practice enough? I dunno, is it because the systems they are running are out of date and perhaps don't fit the players we have? It might be, maybe not tho. We run a man on man Defensive system, that doesn't really happen in the NHL these days anymore. That system is a bit out of date, is it on Maurice or is it on the players? perhaps both but... at the same time, if the current system isn't working, the coach should probably recognize that and change it up... Who knows what will happen in the off-season tho, this also could be part of the 32 games in 60 days factor (an NHL record) and all the injuries they had during that time. I'm not convinced that if Maurice was let go that he would be hired that quickly, why? Because he was unemployed for many many years before the Jets came calling and never really had his name brought up when teams were looking for new coaches. I just don't see another team giving him a chance, maybe but he probably wouldn't be their first or even 2nd choice tho.

Pav let in 2 on his first 6 shots tho. It's not goaltending. It's the players in front. Plus it was Arizona. They are legit terrible

Goaltending around the league seems to be going through an awful time. Holtby lets in 8. Murray 7. Price 7 and has been struggling. Tonight Jake Allen and Hutton have allowed 6 goals on 16 shots. St Louis really struggling at the moment. So the key to Saturday vs the Blues... shoot the puck and lots.

Whatever really. You have it in your head that the goalies are the reasons we suck and refuse to actually even talk about other areas of the team that suck just as much so really..whatever man

Keith and Seabrook are also very good players and some would say those deals are bargains. Enstrom has struggled this year and I'd love to move on from him if he wishes but... the reason he went back to Sweden earlier was because his fiancee was diagnosed with Cancer. Toby has struggled no doubt but prior to learning about the cancer... he was pretty solid. His head is obviously elsewhere at times and honestly these guys are human.... I'd imagine that it can't be easy playing hockey in another country while your fiancee is at home battling cancer.

Here's the thing with numbers. You talk about our goalies and say if they let in 18 fewer goals... that's great but in the same sentence pretty much you talk about our coaching and pk but don't mention anything about our pk and how awful it was and if the pk let's say killed off 18 more penalties.. 18 less goals against on the PK sure helps also doesn't it. The fact you are all high and mighty after beating a coyotes team who sucks... ridiculous. We've seen it all before... 1 good game against a bad team and all is good? Nope. Sorry. Let's see them do this against a good team and do it consistently cuz right now beating Arizona proves nothing.

I said he was ok. What more do you want? He didn't win this game by himself..he made 1 nice fluke save. Hell Pavelec himself called it Luck. He let in 3 goals against a coyotes team who has scored 3 goals in a game twice now in January. He wasn't the difference. You seem to be blinded by media reports such as "pavelec near perfect in his return". Cuz he certainly wasn't. He was good enough after allowing a goal on the first shot of the game. The team in front of him also dominated for 45 50 minutes tho. Something that they didn't do the last 4 games. This game should prove to people that while goaltending is an issue.... (it still is btw) that it is just 1 of many plaguing this team. Let's see this effort next game. I somehow doubt we see that tho cuz st louis doesn't suck like Arizona does Let's just... they scored 6 tonight. The last 3 games combined... 7. Don't think scoring goals makes a difference? It's pretty tough for anyone to say we won cuz of Pavs when 95 percent of the game was played in Arizona end of the rink

Ehlers was demoted because of poor play according to Maurice. There's that veteran accountability oh wait... Until Maurice starts holding all players accountable..this team goes nowhere. His post game interview was seriously nauseating and so very troubling

I suppose so. But 6 goals for makes doing your job easier also Jets were much better defensively this game than the last 4. 27 of those 32 shots were pretty routine straight forward saves.

The 3 stars are irrelevant. Pavelec was just ok. He didn't play that great. He wasn't awful but he wasn't good either. 29 of 32 apparently. 906 save percentage. To put that in to perspective helle has a 907 save percentage skewed by 2 pulls.
