  1. I just think it’s no surprise really that the team with the healthy QB is leading the league and I think it’s just a matter of time before 40 year old Harris is carted off the field. I honestly thought he was injured against Calgary. They pulled him but he was definitely hurt and might still be. Hell does he even play this week.
  2. The spotters have pulled collaros for doing similar.
  3. Riders got exposed by Calgary. Hopefully bombers take that template and expose them also. Riders tend to start off strong but the old saying the season begins Labour Day , well they historically tend to suck after. Don’t see why things would be different this year.
  4. Why. He’s got more potential than both Wilson and Streveler. Why cut a guy who showed more in pre season than Wilson has in 2 years. Streveler can’t even make a QB sneak anymore. Why not. He’s already a better passer than Wilson and Streveler. I’d imagine if he signs he’s on the AR or 1 game. He’s not gonna come up to sit on our PR.
  5. Paying attention is important. Creating false narratives should be a ban hammer and you do like the fake news it seems. Cuz just a week or so ago during a Jordan younger interview he specifically said they made the decision to move on from Bighill and BA. They could have brought them back but decided to not do that. They were never bringing BA and Bighill back. Stop the fake news that honestly just serves no purpose. Besides, what does going back in the past accomplish right now. Honestly. Some of you just it’s just so repetitive. It’s Labour Day coming up and you got ppl talking about a guy who hasn’t played a down in 2025. Like at what point does the insanity end. O’Shea is the ******* coach. Walters is the guy who signs ppl or doesn’t. I mean with some of you they could come out and say Kyle brought this guy back and you’d say sure he did sure the gm did gm things. It was O’Shea cuz it’s always O’Shea. It’s just bullshit.
  6. Let’s go there. Let’s pretend Elgersma signs here sooner than later. Who do you cut. Wilson or Streveler?
  7. I thought love was injured. Figured they would keep the rest until he’s healthy. If he was cut tho dude should just say F you and come up here cuz he looked like the best QB Green Bay had and I understand it’s pre season but was pre season for the other QBs also. like at this point what can a Canadian QB do cuz Elgersma was basically flawless and still cut for a guy who looked worse.
  8. Hopefully Warmer than this current one which feels long weekend ish to me at the moment. Cuz I’m about to cut the grass and I’m frozen.
  9. We have only played 1 plus 500 team right now anyways but BC was 1 and 0 when We beat them. We have lost to 1 team 3 times and 1 team once. We haven’t played 2 of the 4 (in reality 2 of the 3 cuz we are 1 of the 4 teams above 500) and Montreal was 5 and 5 so I mean pretty tough to beat teams above 500 when you have really only played 1 team who is currently above it. Bc is under 500 but we beat them twice. If not they would be above 500. 500 in a 9 team league when 4 teams including us are above 500 is pretty ridiculous honestly. I mean that’s like plus minus in hockey. Doesn’t mean **** dude.
  10. In 2 weeks, bombers and Sask will be 8 and 4. But a little Sask story. I met a dude from Regina on a vacation and he was married to a girl from Regina and they named their kids yeast and flour cuz those be ingredients in bread. Yeah. dude was a fun guy tho, he could count all his sexual experiences on one hand. 3 times mom 2 times sister 1 time aunt… but yeah, I’ve been twice to Regina and that’s probably enough for me now. The drive is boring if I’m being honest but surprisingly lots of subway restaurants there, I was told it’s because ppl in Sask are good at making things in bread but anyways enough of my Sask story. hopefully Houston debuts and we dress some extra DL and pretty much copy exactly what Calgary did
  11. Bombers are tied for 3rd in the league behind Sask Calgary and tied with the offensive juggernaut Ticats. I mean. The reality is the bombers are better than a few people think. They aren’t the dominant bombers of days gone by but I think that’s more on the D than the O. Bombers D used to be dominant. Bombers O never was, always middle of the pack kinda where they are now in lots of O categories. The difference this year is our D is giving up more points and are leading the league in explosion plays against. That really hasn’t been a thing here in recent memory. The O has their 1 or 2 45 50 point games a year but on average probably mid 20s to late 20s points on average historically. There was a point where our D didn’t allow any points in the 4th quarter for like years in a row. Not so much right now. Medlock was kicking 5 fgs a night also.
  12. He’s been around since 2018. Good stats. I’d imagine it might take a bit to get him out of Ontario now tho. Seems like he’s bounced around between Toronto and Ottawa a bit now. If I’m being realistic I think there’s a good chance Chad Kelly is done in the cfl and done with the Argos and Arbuckle will be signed again. Plus realistically Zach is signed for next season. If Arbuckle can start in TO he ain’t leaving to backup. Cuz whether ppl accept it or not unless there’s some weird miracle, Zach is our starter next year.
  13. As a backup yup. But if he’s starting we are losing more than we win.
  14. Nobody will cuz dude has been in the league since 2018 and teams have been there done that and he’s failed. Argos still have a shitty record. Arbuckle has nice stats but when he starts he loses more often than not. He’s already played for Calgary Edmonton and Ottawa plus Toronto now. Half the league. It ain’t happening for him. With that said I’d take him as a backup over Streveler.
  15. How bad is BCs D tho. Wow. 430 yards for Arbuckle is wild. guess cheering for Calgary to bring Sask to 8 and 2 and Calgary to 7 and 3. Then beat Sask back to back and be 8 and 4 and have the tie breaker.
  16. I mean besides lawler what guy did we let go that’s having an impact on another team? Nobody. but I agree. Receiver shouldn’t be hard to find at all. Definitely a F there for Kyle but really it’s just lawler. Maybe lawler hid the issues with the O a bit but in reality our O was and Is at its best when Brady is featured heavily. Whenever Brady or AH before had big games and big touches we were winning, when we relied on Zach and the passing game? Not so much. Our O runs through Brady. It’s why we all want him to get more touches cuz games like last night will become the norm then cuz they were not very long ago.
  17. I mean Ayers had 4. so maybe it’s special teams but I dunno. I don’t recall seeing him or Shay out there defensively. I did miss a few series early in the 4th tho.
  18. I mean normally you don’t tear acls cuz you taking hits. You tear them cuz you landed funny or someone landed on you. I’ve seen ppl tear quads and acls just by running jogging or even walking.
  19. Lack of depth is on O’Shea? Honestly. What the **** does Walters do then. O’Shea is out there every day taking stupid questions from our stupid media. Out there pre and post game. When the **** was the last time Walters said anything? Lack of depth isn’t on O’Shea. It’s on Walters. You complain literally about everything. Won’t be happy until it’s done exactly your way but looking at the roster, and the PR, where are these extra receivers we could dress? Woods on the DL would be nice but he’s still hurt I guess. I mean they are non existent. Cobb who will be released soon and a dude we brought in 2 weeks ago. where is all this depth that O’Shea can pick from cuz I don’t see it. Lack of depth on the coach? I’m pretty sure it’s the GMs job to give him options but guess what our gm didn’t. Our gm actually gave Thomas a new contract this off season. Same with Kyrie Wilson. He gave Korn one also. You always bring everything back to O’Shea when in reality the things fans should be complaining about happened in the off season. The lack of depth is on the GM. O’Shea literally has zero options in certain spots. But Cobb but Cobb but Cobb, complaining about backups to backups here. Worrying about who 3rd string is when 1 st string is underwhelming in areas. How is signing players not on the gm. The gm signs players and that improves your depth. The gm doesn’t and here we are.
  20. I see on the stat sheet Connor Shay had 1 tackle. Did he get some defensive reps and I missed that.
  21. 1. Zach. I mean that might have been his best game in years. Dude had 13 straight completions at one point. Montreal has a good D and play us hard since we were in the east. 2. Brady. Over 200 yards. Dude stepped up. 3. Sergio. Was perfect on the night. HH to sterns and Demski. Both had great first halfs. another HH to person who seems to make a difference when he plays. Houston or Dandy. Whoever. Just no more Lawson Jr. I gotta give a wTF to the refs who didn’t call a penalty eventho our OL (think it was Kolo) had his helmet torn off. and lastly a hhh and that means it’s all about the game and how you play it… give me Logan here. Did he stand out? No but he’s a weapon and it was nice seeing him out there finally.
  22. AI says. Yes, while not typically competing on the professional PGA Tour, many hockey players are avid golfers and some have even participated in professional events through exemptions or charity tournaments. For instance, Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dylan Samberg competed as an amateur in a PGA TOUR Americasevent in 2024, and Matt Boldy of the Minnesota Wild received a sponsor exemption for a PGA Tour Canada event. Additionally, hockey players often participate in charity events alongside professional golfers, and some, like Maverick McNealy, have successfully transitioned from hockey to the PGA Tour. Hockey Players and Professional Golf: Dylan Samberg: A defenseman for the Winnipeg Jets, Samberg has competed in PGA TOUR Americas events as an amateur, demonstrating the skill level that allows some hockey players to test their abilities in professional golf. Matt Boldy: After a strong season with the Minnesota Wild, Boldy received a sponsor's exemption to play in a PGA Tour Canada tournament, showcasing his talent and passion for the sport beyond hockey. Grant Fuhr: The former NHL goaltender has played in Pro-Am tournaments with golf stars and even competed in a few Web.com Tour events. Maverick McNealy: McNealy, who played hockey when he was younger, now plays on the PGA Tour. Jerry Kelly: Before playing on the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour Champions, Kelly was a hockey player who attended the University of Hartford on a hockey scholarship
  23. 15 of 17 159. Yeah. It’s the O that’s the problem. 11 straight completions now. Oh 12. Hmm.
  24. Demski hurt. Funcussion. Streveler at receiver now lol.
