So hazen went off for singer? HAZEN with zero stats. Who came on for Demski tho. Canadian. But who was it actually lol. I don’t know. It was Peterson or a LB. lol. Off Moxey hazen. In. Singer Nichols Off Demski Clark. In. Bouliane? And Peterson.

The D to me looks confused. Confused chaos. But not in a good way. I think JY also thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room, think he’s trying to just be 2 over complicated at times and it just confuses our players who are just not as perhaps athletic as required for whatever it is he’s running. But even in mass confusion if they could make that 1st tackle all the time, they would be off the field quicker. Because lots of times, it is a missed tackle that extends drives. Talent is lacking and coaching them how to tackle appears to be also not there. Prob tough when not in pads lots tho.

And no Cobb shouldn’t be starting but at this point he’s more consistent than receiver 1 who I suppose is Wilson and whatever Nield is. 5th receiver ain’t making much difference for anyone. Cobb knows his role. He’s not the reason our O sucks tho but yeah, odd decision making to start more cdns than necessary when you don’t have the talent to do so and that’s coaching. But yeah all Cobb does is give effort every play. More than pokey and white do. You watch pokey and white when not involved? Doing nothing. Cobb? Busting his ass.

Did singer play boundary receiver tho? Thought he took Demskis spot. I liked what singer did also but doubt he’s getting as many looks in cobbs spot as he is in demskis. Singer looks like he’s more Wilson and maybe white even. Same build really. That’s not boundary receiver. But there’s been plenty of receivers who have a game or 2 then nothing. Singer was good but he’s not even Greg Carr level yet. And what’s Cobb done besides catch 90 percent of the balls thrown his way. Acting like receiver 5 is making differences when receiver 1 catches 1 every 2 or 3 his way. At this point Cobb has been more consistent than Nield and Wilson.

I think most these dudes got offers or whatever but maybe not for the cash they expected. Some are washed tho. But there’s worse players than a few on the list in the league still

Good teams beat other good teams in close games. Bad teams lose to them. I think we are at best a 9 and 9 team. Average. Maybe a miracle happens. They get in and catch lightning in a bottle. Do feel the crossover spot might be our best route tho to the final. Bombers have had 1 really good game and that was against Montreal. The rest have been wildly inconsistent.

Sask will beat us this week also. Convincingly. Cuz they are better than we are overall. Edmonton is better than us. BC is better. Calgary ? It’s us and them really. Who gets to lose to BC or Sask likely. Who gets to cross over? Honestly. I like our chances against Toronto and Montreal more.

Nah. Montreal was a blip. Why. Cuz Q1 Labour Day. 12 net yards. Zero first downs and that is a common theme. The Montreal win masked all our problems and instead of change, we saw vet back in for dude who played well in Nichols for Texada. Wait till singer doesn’t play this week and Cobb does still. Beating Montreal the way we did, it’s just false hope and Q1 in Sask was back to reality. Sasks kicker tried to literally say here, take this game and bombers were so inept they said, nah you take it. Back to what they are. A .500 or less team.

7 or 8 will do it. I’d agree if the bombers were actively trying to get better but they aren’t. Bombers ain’t got a chance to host a playoff game.

However, agreed about max protect and that says, the coaches saw it coming and eventho they saw it coming, the players couldn’t execute to stop it. Coaches coach during the week. Players play on game day. Bryant is cooked. Neufeld is also. Elsbury ain’t good enough for an American. Wallace has regressed. Not shocking really that we fold under pressure from guys 15 years younger.

It is the damn near 40 yr old QB tho. He needs to get the ball out quicker. He doesn’t. Dude holds it holds it holds it, what about the blindside sacks or the ones up the gut? How doesn’t he see it? Dudes a 10 plus year vet who looks like a rookie we’d cut in camp when he’s facing pressure. Du. Du Hast. But dude sucks so Hast away.

I’d put blitzes on the QB. Zach has zero awareness. None. He is an immobile statue. That plays a role. A big one. OL can’t block 7 on 5 either so it’s scheme at times but the QB needs to recognize that. The coaches can’t recognize it for him. Lots of sacks on Zach, If he moved 5 feet one direction, they miss him also. Our QB has the ego, he thinks he can throw the long bombs still. He thinks he’s one of the best in the league still. He’s not. That’s part of the problem. Zach ain’t what he used to be. But always had zero awareness. In the past he could run tho. He can’t anymore.

So this applies to Calgary Edmonton also. Or just the bombers? Cuz that was an epic collapse there also. Must be on Dave Dickinson right.

I played sports. When we lost we always blamed the coaches eventho they weren’t the ones playing. In the end we all knew we lost cuz we just weren’t good enough. We didn’t have enough talent and the other team played better, the other team made mistakes and we didn’t capitalize on it on the field. Coaches coach but during the games, players play and need to execute. Ours don’t consistently.

I’ll blame Condell cuz Brady’s 1st touch in the 2nd half wasn’t until pretty much the 4th quarter. O’Shea? I’m not sure what he does during games. He’s certainly not calling the O or D plays, I’ll blame O’Shea for allowing that mess on O to continue this long, for hiring Tommy in the first place. Tommy reminds me of the gay character on family guy? The ohh no guy. Every time we mess up I can hear him going ohh nooo. It’s wild. D hasn’t been terrible tho. I mean 32 points with OT involved, can’t complain. O just can’t score 30 consistently Every O puts up points every week. Ours doesn’t. Ours is wildly inconsistent. Pokey and white when not involved are lazy players. OL is just bad. Zach has zero awareness and can’t read a blitz. Should have gone for 2? Then we lose then cuz Sask just blitzes us and it’s over. We have no answer and our qb is likely permanently concussed.

Announcers annoy me. They going on about protecting QBs then when a player gets flagged for doing something to the QB, they complain. 1 step forward. 2 back. That’s the CFL. Props to Major Williams, Jaylen Smith and Dorian Singer. 3 rookies who definitely stood out.

Our O had 12 yards and zero first downs after the 1st quarter. They are why we suck. Our D isn’t great but they kept us in this one. O never got going. Condell is a disaster.

Zachs arm looks shot and his accuracy yesterday wasn’t great. Throws tend to be well short or over thrown to open guys. Singer looked great, looks like he’s potentially a threat. But just like texada, won’t play next week cuz Demski is back. Should take Cobbs spot tho.
