  1. It's both, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Rick has to win 7 games MINIMUM, absolutely no less are allowed, to keep his job. Antoine Pruneau predicted the redbalcks will go 12-6...
  2. I think the word "bromance" needs to be permanently retired...
  3. So everyone who thought Taman predicting 12-6 was optimistic... Ott LB Preneau is also predicting 12-6 for his squad... I think 6-12 would be a good start for them...
  4. Dammit Bombers... why can't you ever provide free stuff when I'm there!?!
  5. I guess the only silver lining is it might give one of the new guys... Anderson, Veltung, Gordon.... a chance to make the team and see what they can do.... but definitely a big loss...
  6. Is Wicek the next Bruce Jenner? No judgement, just saying
  7. I left after the first session... here's a few of my thoughts from skelly/scrimmage.... take them for what they're worth (not much) - Willy is clearly the best QB we have (not that that's really in question)... Brohm is no lock for the #2 spot, I thought Marve was the second best QB today.... Portis is impressively mobile but was inaccurate in his throwing - Anderson and Scott both had a couple nice runs - D-line looks intense and very vocal, like what I see from them - JFG continues to make impressive catches and appears to have no fear running across the middle... he could certainly be the "next Watson" - Hurl took most first team reps at MLB... would like to see Denicos Allen there a bit - I thought Stoudemire looked a little over-matched at field HB - Gordon has impressive wheels, could be a nice deep threat - really impressed by Hijrullahu's leadership on teams - Darvin Adams made a few nice catches - Goossen and Collins (I think, I didn't actually see the DL's #) got into a bit of a scuffle.... was broken up quickly by teammates... good to see some aggression from the young man... Wylie was giving him **** for something earlier in practice, didn't really seem like a big deal but they were going back and forth for a bit - Picard is a very vocal leader... seems guys really respect him - Overall seemed like a good, intense practice... chatted with a few other Bomber fans that were there... possibly other people from this site?? Non-football thoughts from the morning - Dom Picard seems to hate running sprints (can't really blame him) - Paul Wicek appeared to be wearing women's Toms shoes - I nailed the timing since it started to rain about a minute after I got in my car. Hope you guys enjoyed my input...
  8. Hijrullahu doing kick offs now, doing a lot of directing and coaching... Tony Burnett showing a lot of enthusiasm on Def and ST
  9. Santella doing most of the kicking today... AL Bradbury and some refs are here throwing flags... Brohm with a couple overthrows in skelly... Anderson, Gordon and Veltung taking the kick offs
  10. I was here about 5 after 9 (started at 9) and Bob was already here...
  11. Looks like Demond Washington is sitting out as well
  12. Whoops, 2 threads started at once... which will prevail?? Also should say I'm here*... not i'm he
  13. Whoops, 2 threads started at once... which will prevail?? Also should say I'm here*... not i'm he
  14. I'm he so I thought I'd get this started... mostly just running warm up drills right now.... players not participating (that I can see): Richards, Kohlert, Moore, Leggett, Newman, Neufeld, Dile
  15. So they're planning on using 2 DI spots on kickers?... that doesn't make much sense to me... if they had one guy who could do both that would be understandable...
  16. That list isn't getting any smaller. Hopefully a few of those are just playing it safe. I suspect (of course, this is just a straight up guess) that if tomorrow was the season opener all of those guys would be ready to go if call upon... I'm even less concerned about the veterans...
  17. Hopefully that's specific enough for some posters. Leads me to believe when a guy has an actual confirmed injury they'll announce it... leave it ambiguous when it's just bumps and bruises... crazy concept!
  18. I remember Doug Brown saying something like the defence just called cover 0 on every play because no one knew what to do, and they had no coach. I don't care what anyone says .. that Daley coached team was the biggest train wreck we've had in Winnipeg in recent memory .. Unfortunately there's far too many comparables in recent memory...
  19. It would be nice to get some updates on position battles.... how are the contenders pushing Cotton... which Int WRs are standing out.... how's the Chungh vs Goossen vs Greaves vs Neufeld battel... What about RT... any of the new LBs look good... so much is going on but we're not hearing too much...
  20. Tuscaloosa is gone?? I'm legitimately disappointed... I was looking forward to his TC report today for a good laugh...
  21. I won't flame you, I'll just ask why you care so much. Their ailments are none of your business and a lot of the teams have adopted a "say nothing" approach because some injuries (or reasons they have to sit out) are personal and when they reveal details of some, but not others, it's easy to cherry pick who might have hemorrhoids or a herpes outbreak instead of just an ankle sprain. But seriously - who the hell cares what a guy has that is bothering him. Personally, I don't care what the injury is... but knowing the time-frame would be nice...
  22. When you start trolling on a curling forum (quite possibly the most "gentlemanly" sport of all time) you've reached a new low...
  23. Better be careful. Nate is quoting you at RF. Just did a little reading over at RF for fun... man that place is littered with trolls... Nate being the worst, of course...
