McLeod Bethyl didn't exactly light it up when he was finally inserted.....I doubt either qb. wins this one and the Bombers looked superior overall....Even with the refs phoney phatom roughing the passer call on Thomas (who really wasn't the guy anyway) didn't help them....We were in the 'chicken box' more than they were and it ended as it should have

Lucky is a competent returner but I don't expect any risky 'Janarion' type returns....More a secure the ball and hit the turf type game....Knowing his fragility ...that's best...Pity that is missing from our game this year

When Ford was hanging around the nfl last year, I was hoping that he would see the light and come back to the Bombers...I just knew this guy was an allstar and he's showing it ....He is a difference maker and he showed it in this one.....Kudos to the team for a great effort and with the bye week and a deserved rest , it's onward and upward

Bud Grant has to be in the top rung BUT Osh is working on it....I was a kid when Grant was winning and in the days he had the respect of the whole league ...He was an innovator for his time, and the guy just had a cool calculating demeanor unmatched by any others in the league...He was just a 'winner' and that's why the nfl (vikes) came knocking and he left....casting a dark pall on the Bomber faithful and the city in general.....Mike O Shea has a comparable demeanor and who knows he could reach the pinnacle that Bud did, IF he remains in Bomber colours...I believe he will and reach that top rung
