Gettin ready to pull the handle and flush this team...It appears the team has no interest in post season play with that kind of effort displayed last night....Ottawa for cripes sake looked like the superior club...Something is very wrong and what an insult to the fans who are selling out the building lately...Looks like Bones has lost his way and the team under him is just going through the motions to finish the year out....Connor has to be benched...ever since his injury he seems hesitant at times to get involved in the heavy going...What a collapse of a , what looked like, a promising season...AND fans who are taking a shot at Helle are out to lunch....the guy is still standing on his head in support of this collapsed mess

My take awhile ago was this team does not win without Vilardi....Now to be fair the club has won quite a few without him being in the line-up BUT it's getting down to crunch time and we appear to be going into the late season 'down the toilet' trick....Blame it on the schedule ..sure.. but as far as I'm concerned winning clubs respond by digging deep and pulling off stretch wins with an all out effort....Didn't see that in Wash, NJ or Long Island.......Spleen injuries are 'touchy' to come back from in heavy contact sports, without risking further injury....I'd luv to see Vilardi back in action as he definitely would be a difference maker..Will the club risk putting him in the lineup in the final run ....kind of doubt it....so here we sit ...and I don't like the picture I'm seeing ///???

You just gotta know that Bethel-Thompson will request that room on his next stay in the Peg...................Fastest growing city in North America in 1913 when rail was king......the days when most of my family worked for the railroad before and after the hey day... Looking back at great qb. tandems in the CFL...I would have to rate the Russ Jackson and Ronnie Lancaster as one of the best twosome's....They were a force back then... Eventually though Ottawa traded Lancaster to Sask. and it worked out well for them... Russ continued to play 'lights out' for the Rough Riders ...I think our duo of Streve and Zack are very comparable and they'll be a helluva problem for opposition defences ...Scheming for us will be a huge problem for the rest of the league...Looking forward to it.......heh heh

Brown has proved nothing as a starting qb.....Until he's been behind centre from the get go in Ottawa, and proves to the fans there, he's got the goods, then he remains just another good back-up qb. dealt to them from the Bombers....Wish him all the luck in the world...He's got a lot of growing to do and 'should/could be' what they're looking for in Redblack country....we'll see

We know Miller was very good at what he did...I have every confidence that special teams with regard to covering downfield kicks will be a big improvement....Still have to have the bodies that can get the job done though....As I see it now there has to be an improvement in talent...Kelly is a good start
