With 3 established Natl. positions on defence they have a ton of roster flexibility to shuffle around.

No big shockers to me with the cuts, pretty much what I figured I'd see this morning. If you're surprised by anyone getting axed, just know they didn't dazzle in the film room or had the professionalism of a sloth on a coffee break. Everything else is just guessing and conjecture based on a few preseason snapshots.

Apparently Lenius is currently injured and may be out for quite sometime, nonetheless it sounds like the Riders are replacing him with rookie Ajou who will be making about half the $152k Lenius was scheduled to receive.

Upon further review (with a terribly close camera angle that the CFL should be furious about) I think Marquise Bridges played very well at HB.
Devin Adams, Miles Fox and Jamal Woods are all very good players and I hope the team figures out a way to keep them all.
Owen Hubert for a rookie late round Canadian feels like someone who could be stashed on PR. For all the talk about Mason Bennett on here, I don't actually think he's very good and neither does Hamilton clearly. Hubert might satiate the desire for a future rotational Canadian DE in a way that Suckthany Bennett couldn't.
Terrell Bonds and Ty Ford were my favorite CBs. Demetries Ford and Bill Hackett are both good too but I think they're both 5-7 which might be too small to stick around

The Stamps have Maier, Shiltz, Stevens, Bonner + rookie Vantrease who didn't look too bad, if they keep Stevens for 3rd downs they'll be forced to put Bonner on the PR or cut him, and I think he has the potential to be the best of the bunch.  He spent last season on the PR so I doubt he wants to spend another year treading water, timing wise this could be an opportunity for the Bombers to acquire a potential future replacement when Zach calls it a day, which is a harder case to make for Strev. or Wilson.

Really looking forward to see how Wilson looks behind centre, after giving us a promising glimpse in saskabush....He looked great once he found his groove AND IF he can back that up with another show of talent....hey, we might have  found ouselves another qb.....It'll also be interesting to see how the new pivot looks, although I guess we can't expect a helluva lot, do to his laaate arrival

Most decisions have already been made, a lot of players given considerable game time will be cut regardless of their performance, it's just a courtesy to provide them a showcase and the opportunity to put up some pro game film.  Exhibit A, Kyle Borsa 2021 pre-season game in Regina.
I wouldn't  expect miraculous surprises like holding onto 3 Import LB prospects no matter how good they all look, it just isn't viable.  Cuts are the decision of the entire coaching staff not only O'Shea, bringing in new players has to be balanced with established players being pushed out the door.  Bighill is safe but BA's playing days may be numbered.

I thought the club should have not brought him back this year and moved on. However unless injury prevents him from suiting up, I don't see MOS not starting him.

1. I'm not a Kramdi hater, though I believe he should have to play to earn his spot (but he's not playing so...)
2. I'm not defending the coaches here, I'm just saying we can easily assume this is what's happening.
