Should Ricky Ray Retire (On A High Note), Or Keep Trying To Go Beyond 40?
He was ranked #1 or #2 O-lineman behind Gray in the last draft but I have no idea whether he played a down for the Argos this year or not.

Edmonton did pretty well acquiring Mason Woods in this deal, highly regarded O-line prospect in the 2017 draft even though he didn't show very well in the Combine he could prove to be a solid pick up down the line. Another giant for their O-line.

When do we fire Richie Hall?
Yep, he's a F.A.. Unless they intend to move Santos to MLB which I think there is potential, I can't really see the need for Wild as a rotational player.

When do we fire Richie Hall?
With Santos-Knox in the house, Walters will have a hard time justifying Wild's pay cheque.

I don't think he has re-signed yet, do you have a link?

LaPo was hired Dec. 07/15. Nichols became the starting QB game 6 of 2016 after Willy started the season 1-4. I believe it was LaPo that identified the problem and pushed for the change to be made, so in a way he saved his own ass and possibly that of O'Shea as well.

Don't get me started on McDonalds, I hate their food to start with but these "now you see it, now you don't" menu boards almost drive me crazy, especially when trying to place an order for an entire hockey team of 6 year olds.

In the defense of all coach's that step into a difficult situation, look at the personnel that Etch was given to work with. It's inevitable that they can't turn it around in the year or two that they're given when the team is inept on both sides of the ball. Fair warning to any HC picking up the reins in Mtl.

The Airline Thread
Spent two weeks in the Yucatan exploring a few years back based out of a straw hut on the beach in Tulum, avoided Cancun like the plague that it is. The Tulum ruins are small and picturesque but easily covered in an hour or two, Chichen Itza is the real deal and will consume an entire day, amazing site. Be sure to watch Mel Gibson's Apocalypto before you go. If you want to spend time in a real Mexican city visit Merida for a day or two which will give you a non-tourist perspective of life in Mexico. Merida also puts you within reach of Uxmal which is another amazing Mayan site. Fantastic area for snorkeling, I'd highly recommend the Xel-Ha water park which is a freshwater inlet just north of Tulum on the coast, amazing fish habitat. Also liked Playa del Carmen and Cozumel for a day or two each.

They also took the effort to stick White and LB Jones on the I.R. before the season ended so it looks like they should be back for TC. The roster no longer shows I.R. players so I'm not sure how that works technically, both Westerman and Adams are listed on the roster, so I don't know.

They want Thorpe back all they need to do is call his agent, he'll be a F.A. soon.

When do we fire Richie Hall?
Hall tried to resign last year due to poor health, if his health issues haven't improved or have actually gotten worse I can't see him having the stamina to coach another year.

When do we fire Richie Hall?
Hall or Burke? I'm confused.

Should Ricky Ray Retire (On A High Note), Or Keep Trying To Go Beyond 40?
Ray extending his career by even one year makes it rather difficult for the Argos to go after Franklin for the following reasons. 1. Unless they give Ray a haircut (...and how can they?) the Argos won't have the SMS resources to win the bidding war that's likely to occur. 2. Franklin probably doesn't want to spend another year sitting behind an established #1 QB, although with Ray's injury history he'd likely end up with a substantial amount of game time.

Strange that Wally will stay on another year as coach, sensed he was fed up when the players did not respond to his methods.- Around The League: 2018 Offseason
With the decision coming this quickly, I'm thinking the opposite.- Grey Cup: Calgary vs Toronto
Without the fumble and TD return there would be no reason to throw deep to the E.Z. into double coverage, Mitchell could have just knelt instead.- Blue Bomber Free Agent List
Unless Ottawa is going all in on Franklin or pursuing Collaros, I can't see them letting Harris walk away.- Should Ricky Ray Retire (On A High Note), Or Keep Trying To Go Beyond 40?
Collaros may find himself in Nichols shoes, written off by many after serious injuries he just needs to find a new home to continue his career. I wouldn't write him off like Willy as he's a fiery competitor who will find a way to come back.- CFLPA All-Star Team
I don't believe even Solly would look all that great playing MLB in Hall's system when a big part of the role is wrestling with O-lineman and plugging gaps. It's high time they moved on from this scheme and choose from the abundance of players that can play MLB in the traditional sense. I'm a bit worried that they are going to go through some statistical analysis of the MLB position in the next few weeks and come to the conclusion that it worked as planned and will serve up the same look next season to justify their approach.- Around The League: 2018 Offseason
True, he can keep the Frito's van up on blocks for another year, his post football career will be there waiting for him when he finally calls it quits.- Former Bomber Head Coach Mike Riley Fired
Honestly, what kind of football team calls itself "The Beavers", that's just silly.- Grey Cup: Calgary vs Toronto
Hmmm....not quite the Shania I recall from my youth but it looks like she can still hit the high notes.- CFLPA All-Star Team
Impressed that Darvin Adams was chosen as one of the top receivers considering the competition. - Around The League: 2018 Offseason
