  1. Don't get too attached, if he's as successful as it appears he will be with his extended height, he could be off to the NFL by next season.
  2. Vernon Adams did the same thing to Bighill in 2019, he may have been penalized and received a fine later on but the refs. allowed him to finish the game at QB.
  3. Was the original call OPI or was it challenged? Whatever it was there didn't seem to be enough video evidence to overturn it.
  4. Absolutely one of the most entertaining games I've watched in many years, goes to show the CFL doesn't need drastic rule changes to make it exciting.
  5. CMOOOOONNNNNNNNNN THROW ME THE FRICKIN' BAAAALLLL!!!!
  6. Flutie tuning in, but he's not cheering for the Bombers. @DougFlutie · 7h Friday Night Lights tonight in Winnipeg! @calstampeders vs. @Wpg_BlueBombers RT this for a Stamps W #FullOnStamps
  7. TSN usually shuffles CFL games to "Games on Demand" the next day. Yare TV puts the replays up as soon as they end, but you need a laptop and VPN to view.
  8. Bad news for you, when Chris Jones is smiling and laughing it up on the sidelines.
  9. It looks like the play begins with a whistle once the returner touches the ball, is that the case?
  10. Promising candidates, but not yet authenticated.
  11. Gone are the days when the Bombers always had a convenient scape-goat to pick on, I think Jeff Hecht was the last one.
  12. Not particularly quick, but he's got a good top end once he gets rolling, great hands as well. Hopefully he gets a few balls thrown his way.
  13. The only part of that apology Marino wrote was his name, and he probably spelled that wrong.
  14. I don't know but you would think the Keg would have video of this event if it happened inside one of their restaurants.
  15. Thanks you are correct, it's been over 20 years since I read the book. Being pedantic, the authors last name is spelled "Stevenson". 😉
  16. "A Man Called Called Intrepid", a very good non-fiction book written about Winnipegger William Stephenson, there is a statue of him on Memorial Blvd.
  17. Ray originally had a great arm, only in his last few years in T.O. after shoulder surgery was he forced to rely on the dink and dunk passing game. There is an interview on the Waggle Podcast were he discusses this.
  18. The one thing I notice about all great QB's is that they seem to be smart individuals, not a dummy in the bunch. Brain power is more important to the QB position than the strength of the arm. In this regard, Fajardo seems to be a happy-go-lucky-half-wit.
  19. To be fair that interview was made immediately after the game, it will be interesting to see if his stance changes once he reviews the game film and hears from O'Day and indirectly from the team's board of directors. This goes beyond football and they may go over his head to remove the tarnish from their organization.
  20. What's to stop one from eating the entire bucket?
