I know one can caught up in the game, lots of emotions happening especially in a championship game, bullets are flying but what were the main reasons/rationalization in the oc and hc not deploying BO in a much more aggressive way when ZC came back into the game with an injured finger that impeded his ability to throw the ball at 100%? Was it Argos D showed they were anticipating the run, was it the juncture of the game that dictated the need to pass, was it that ZC indicated something he saw, was it BO wasn’t banged up , a combo of these things, other? The game is long over and looking forward to this season but just curious to re-visit this in an attempted objective point of view?

Hey if we happen to lose tonight at least the Preds can raise a new banner indicating they suck but they did beat the best team in the league. There's that fans.

The way professional sport is so specialized nowadays another option is to trade for a face-off specialist that will just be his primary role.

Another reminder that football is the ultimate team sport, we win as a team and we lose as a team.

Faceoffs win percentages need to be cleaned up as well especially in close games and as we approach post season. The good news is this team is finding ways to win games in a variety of ways. Just focus one game at a time, improving this here, that there, try to stay healthy clinch a playoff berth as the next goal and then focus on next immediate goal from there. In enjoying this while it lasts.

This has nothing to do with Trotz but it brings me great joy and guilty pleasure in seeing how the Predators season is fairing this season so far. I know Trotz mentioned he's all about Culture and doesn't want the team to tank but I hope they do so they can raise a new banner celebrating that 'achievement'.

Is it unfair to suggest that Barry Trotz is showing he may be better coach, a better advisor than he is a General Manager?

I so hope we play them in the post season with favorable results.

MOS is obviously a humble/modest guy but your use of the word disgusted seems too harsh and exaggerated. I think its more of a feeling of awkwardness and unsettledness with attention. It's probably just how he has been wired as a human being over time.

The Ehlers situation is going to be very interesting in how it all plays out over the next couple of weeks or so. My assumption is there's no way Chevy lets NE walk at the end of the 2024/2025 campaign without getting anything for him in return? What are our chances in re-signing him with probably a considerable bump in his pay? What would the length of the contract be? Or do we trade him for some D help, O help, both or blue chip prospects, i.e., 1st rounders? Or we keep in for this upcoming post season, he helps us win the cup (that's the ultimate return) and walks off into the sunset to another team? But that wouldn't be an option? Or would it? So many questions.

I think to summarize this most recent convo going back and forth is that yes indeed the Riders and Argos really do suck.

Stanley is definitely not a Thomas at this point in their respective careers. Stanley at times makes really smart plays but you just can’t trust him he will be consistent with what they need from him. Hopefully he can improve on this but the leash you would think is shortening. Thomas at this stage is just consistently a non factor on the field (game tape does not lie) who reached his full potential a few years back and has rapidly declined. Great guy, great leader just doesn’t have it athletically anymore.

Face-offs need improving stat, especially in tight games.

Pionk not a great last couple of series for him.
