  1. Chevy: “When I woke up this morning, for me, the choice is put your head down and find a way to keep pushing this team to get better". Being a bit ornery with our team's current predicament and based on what KC has done to date to course correct this predicament that he calls it, other than his pep talks and calls for accountability, what else has he come up with by putting his head down?
  2. Just yanking your chain. It's a service I provide. 🙂
  3. On behalf of the MBB community, thanks for that uplifting speech.
  4. Like more than wide receivers, defensive backs, linebackers, running backs etc. etc.?
  5. Compared to other positions? Really? I thought otherwise. I sit corrected.
  6. I know why but ironically 70% to 80 % of them on the LOS aren’t the highest paid guys.
  7. Maybe this is the beginning of the end, i.e., we're all in on getting Gavin McKenna.
  8. I'm thinking that given another shot and what he's learned as a coach he would be a more improved coach. Continous improvement kind of thing.
  9. I'm thinking he never played anything with anyone. On an unrelated note, not a big fan of DM.
  10. I'm assuming it was a small sample size but last year when WJ did play a traditional attack DE role was he a) being disciplined to that traditional role? and b) if no he wasn't be disciplined, why not? and c) if yes he was be disciplined, was he effective? I'm not convinced that it was all on Younger in how he wanted/asked him to play.
  11. Yes but it's JAKE THOMAS. JAKE. THOMAS. Sorry my PTSD kicks in when his name is raised. Seriously all the best to him, I'm really glad he's staying with the organization and really really happy it's in a non playing role. Maybe he will move up the ranks like Wade Miller.
  12. He might want to tell them his slump schedule.
  13. Ho hum another L. Calm blue ocean. Calm blue ocean. Serenity now.
  14. I hope you're right but I remain skeptical as in I was not a big fan watching WJ mostly stand in place, drop back, freelance watching the game pass him by while getting the odd knock down and/or tackle. Saying he was double covered and/or our interiour sucks doesn't explain all of his lack of exceptional play away. Maybe I'm being too harsh but I love agggressive role sound DE's who contain and get at and disrupt/sack the QB agressively and violently. Love the energy he brings to the game and how he sells it but that has to translate onfield as well. I just tink we need a major overhual in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Easier said than done I know. Oh for sure, I just think it would be funny and add a level of levity to the seriousness of the game.
  15. I just think we need waaaay more from our Dline including our Defensive ends. Way more if we want to change the narrative to how we want to be known as a D coming into 2026.
  16. Lifted from the Winnipeg Sun: “I don’t think I’ve ever been in a situation where there’s so many guys having slumps at the same time,” Niederreiter said. “I went and backtracked and I’m always slumping around the same time, which is this time, so it’s nothing new to me. The only new part is that we lose a lot of hockey games, which makes it even harder.” I find this such an odd thing to say, like yup it's that time of the year I go into a slump nothing out of order here, no biggie, nothing new. lol
  17. This helps me imagine Bob Irving with a right hook that clocks Luke Wilson. 🙂
  18. From a defensive line point of view we need to change what we expect from and how we use our dline. This change in DL scheme and expectations does not involve retaining WJ imo.
  19. This or straight fire? I know what I'd chose. 🙂
  20. Imagine this crew as the CFL panel. You could rotate the two drunks every week to ensure you're getting fan representation from all CFL teams. The panel would be moderated by Bob Irving and Luke Wilson to help fuel the fireworks. TSN has no idea what it's doing.
  21. I'm with you on this from a fan perspective. I'm also not sure how I should feel on what Chevy said here: 'He noted the Jets have given up some draft picks in the past few years and are “paying a little bit of a price for that right now.” I do though agree with what Chevy said here: “But if you're a true fan of any team, the ups and the downs and the celebrations and the heartbreaks are all part of fandom.”
