I love when the word tank is used. Do they have meetings and decide this? If Chevy calls up the whole AHL team and plays them, yes they are tanking but other than that happening what do they do, players play half assed and coaches purposely make bad decisions? Has any NHL team ever admitted to tanking a season?

I’m just hoping JT is given a great dline to work with. Why not have that high expectation. Time to define our identity starting in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

I have no idea if it's common, I don't follow it anywhere near to know but when it does happen it reminds me that $$$ trumps actually seeing the playing field. I write that with nuetrality in my tone.

I'm just really hoping the BB's find a few diamonds in the rough this coming season especially when it comes to our D and O lines and TC is heavily competitive earn your spot at all positions approach.

That would go under the category of weird professional football career.

THE worst spot to finish the season is middle of the pack just out of making the playoffs. Yech.

Lessons learned?

Reading stuff on the internet about Nyquist and Toews being potential trade options for the Jets to part ways with, I get how current journey man Nyquist might be a better fit with another team cuz he's done that in the last while that might work get him going but not the same with Toews imo. I don't see how a different environment than what Winnipeg has created for him to excel could possibly be better to get him going unless you put him with McDavid oe McKinnon. But that's just me. I so wish this had worked out.

No matter how one tries to spin it to suggest this statement is incorrect, it's correct at this moment in time.

Although I was taught not to assume, I'm assuming he was informed of that in the interview process so there should be no confusion in the identity we want to set offensively.

All he has to do is have a great oline to work, a semi decent receiving core, feed the ball to BO to establish the run and have ZC spread the ball around short, mid and long range with some creativity to keep the D off balance. Easy peasy.

Until of course the moment Thomas arrives on the scene.

Now somehow protect him in bubble wrap while he plays so he can play the full season and post please and thank you.
