  1. Not really. One sack and a couple of hurries against a mediocre O=line.
  2. No argument from me but honorable mention to Leggett.
  3. No, but it is more fun. Wally could speak harshly to him, though.
  4. If your faith gives you the guidance, strength and comfort you need, then you are where you need to be. And your voice is no lesser than any other.
  5. Don't we already have one of those?
  6. There is an apparent answer, and it took me only 50 years to find it. However, as you say, this is not the place. And no, I am not a Jesus freak.
  7. Ambrosie would probably use a memo to the BC GM/coach for a first response along with a heads-up to the zebras. A public flogging would likely be unproductive for a first response.
  8. For those who have gotten their silky underthings all bunched up over my comment about Singleton, chill. I wasn't pillorying Walters and Co. for missing an obviously great player, I was bewailing that the Bombers didn't get him. Any draft is a crap shoot, and we will get bonuses we didn't expect (Loffler) to be as good as they were, and absolute flops- and that list is big. Maintain your cools, folks.
  9. A pretty apt metaphor for life in Saskatchewan, yes?
  10. So, does that mean that those who are born with or suffer disabling illnesses or injuries are abandoned by "God"?
  11. Should not be close, and maybe we will finally get to see Davis and/or Lefevor play with live ammunition.
  12. Punish Canada's favourite CFL team preemptively? Perish the thought.
  13. Agreed. He has decent size and speed but there were really only five plays in the video clip, so its hard to tell his whole tool box. Sitting out for a year usually doesn't produce a better player.
  14. And to think we could have had him on our roster if we had been more on the ball....
  15. You are assuming what you choose to assume. When O'Shea was hired, I had my reservations- a team in chaos plus a new GM plus an unproven head coach equaled years of struggle, and it has proven to be so. O'Shea has made rookie head coach decisions, many of which have been documented here and made a difficult job even harder. I have said that O'Shea was a great player and a good guy, but that does not exempt him from mistakes or brain cramps. Dave Ritchie was a helluva coach but also had his flaws. Similarly, everyone raved about what kind of upstanding person Jeff Reinbold was/is but here he is looking for work again. I have always been in favour of more home-grown coaches and GMs, so you may have set a record for the standing conclusion leap.
  16. Poop happens (bad joke, but true), but we do need help in a couple-three positions, and if we want to challenge the Stamps, they do need to be addressed.
  17. Who???
  18. That suspicion is beginning to creep in. So, the answer may be to find another NI safety (possibly Jones) to spell him off. When Loffler is on his game, he is a game-changer.
  19. Green showed so little so infrequently that I hope he is not the best option.
  20. Good import receivers are not that hard to come by despite the Bombers' difficulties in finding a dominant one, so lets wait and see if Hamilton or another CFL team picks him up. For me, this may be more proof about O'Shea's unwillingness to change when change is due. Before the flak starts, consider how it has taken in the past to get rid of obvious deadwood. That proposed trade with (ugh) the riders about shipping Nevis off for a receiver sounds more attractive now.
  21. (Shudder)
  22. Don't bring your fantasies into this forum.
  23. True. Only now is Muamba starting to look like the Bomber he once was.
  24. I hope there is a plan B should one of our import receivers go down. This is a puzzlement and it would be nice if the Bombers cared enough to tell us fans what was going on.
