  1. I think the trend really began with the second game when we lost against the Lions. Same scenario- stumble to a narrow lead at half-time, then that was followed by a second half collapse.
  2. Fact: Streveler is much more effective when he is mobile, so why would he voluntarily stay in the pocket?
  3. Funny, but I was about to ask the same question. The numbers look right but reversed.
  4. Streveler came into the game with a discouraged team and had stats pretty much identical to Nichols but gave no points to the Riders. Moreover, he was probably directed to stay in the pocket rather than roll out or run the ball.
  5. Considering how disastrously the last game started for Nichols, I suspect that the Bombers will be even more conservative in their start in the game today. The Rider linebackers are better than their secondary, so crossing patterns, slants and hooks ought to be a big part of the game plan. I don't know if LaPolice trusts Nichols enough to call 10 yard out patterns- too high a probability of interceptions. So, a six-seven man O-line is likely, and wouldn't Landon Rice have looked good now?
  6. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be....
  7. And so have the Bombers now.
  8. Funny how it often comes down to one game making or breaking the season, and this sure as spit looks to be that game. Its all on Nichols today.
  9. Then you haven't been watching.
  10. Sounds more and more like it has come down to his knee not being 100% or his distrust of it.
  11. Not with horses?
  12. There will be no mercy from the fans for Nichols if he plays as he did last game.
  13. So we can slag each other mercilessly and use expletives?
  14. Sounds frighteningly predictive
  15. Booch, did you know Troy Westwood's dad professionally?
  16. Wouldn't want to make Nichols uncomfortable.
  17. Are you suggesting change?
  18. You could see that one coming with Manny being sidelined for the season.
  19. RE: Barker- wasn't he the guy we shipped Willy to in exchange for theft?
  20. Could it be that they know that there is no chance in Hell that he will not be starting and playing the whole game if O'Shea has anything to say about it?
  21. I think its more that O'Shea is whistling past the boneyard.
  22. That was an anomaly- even a blind squirrel will find the occasional nut and this one happened to be the game of their year at the Grey Cup. Did you know that the Grey Cup and Earl Grey tea are connected, and his descendant was involved in a pedophile ring a couple of decades ago?
  23. God knows, we have to do something and better than last game. Sitting Leggett out is a sign that his time here is done. Too bad.
  24. The coaching staff is suspect, and I would exempt LaPolice from that. I do not know how you can blame an OC for the lame play of his QB and the probable reluctance of the HC to allow a backup to spell off a struggling starting QB. Walters has done enough good stuff to warrant a reprieve, but if he continues to back O'Shea, his fate would also be sealed.
  25. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.
