  1. Gotta stir the poop every now and then. Ask Tom Brodbeck.
  2. BC has lost their starting RB for the year to an ACL tear, so.......
  3. In last night's game, Adams threw several longer passes which were darned close and on most of those, the receivers muffed the catches or were in the wrong place.
  4. I listened to James Franklin being interviewed this afternoon on 1290. He came across as intelligent, not egotistical, knowledgeable and with a sense of humour. Overall, he seems to be an asset to his team and league- I hope does well (but not tonight) and is around for a long time.
  5. Muamba was ok, but not worth the money, the Esks were not as overpowering as they ought to have been, and Adams was very good all things considered. I wondered how good he would look behind the Bomber O=line , but it occurred to me that he would be unlikely to supplant Streveler. Chris Jones really messed up by letting Adams go.
  6. From 3Downnation: Lepers (sic)have a hard time changing their spots- Ticats’ Jones says Manziel was behind, alludes to ‘other stuff’ Posted on July 26, 2018 by 3Down Staff // 33 Comments For all the hype surrounding Johnny Manziel, there are still questions about him as both a player and person. In an interview with a Denver radio station, Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach June Jones said that while Manziel’s talents are undeniable, there are other factors to consider. Two months after Manziel signed with Hamilton, the Ticats traded the 25-year-old quarterback to the Montreal Alouettes in a blockbuster deal. While the Ticats organization and Manziel’s teammates were publicly effusive in their praise, there were rumbles that his commitment to the game wasn’t necessarily beyond reproach, that he had been late or missed meetings on more than one occasion.
  7. Bombers ought to have been able to find an upgrade to Bowman working at the nearest 7-11.
  8. There was a bit on Thompkins on 1290 radio yesterday- he sounds like a blue-chip prospect ready and eager to get onto the field. Still, I wouldn't guarantee that O'Shea will not put Lankford in.
  9. Black is going to wait until the pass is over 10 yards?
  10. It might be prudent to keep small children and pregnant women away from the TV set during this game. It ain't gonna be pretty.
  11. Brodbeck is famous for his interpretations of reality and his history of trying to look informed and intelligent. He has failed at both.
  12. Since Maple Leaf Enterprises now owns the Argos. they ought to get it done. If they can't I don't know who can.
  13. I rather suspect that being diagnosed as bi-polar is an easy excuse for him. He or his agent can say that he has had a formal diagnosis and no doctor will step forward and say that it is baloney. His affect certainly does not support his supposed diagnosis.
  14. I have high hopes for Thompkins. He cannot be less productive than Bowman.
  15. I hope this means that Lankford's career as a punt returner is over.
  16. Please, God, not Lankford again. He is almost as deserving of a road map and apple as Bowman.
  17. Another case of a good guy for whom the clock ran out. It was a low-risk gamble that didn't pay off. Good on the Bombers for cutting their losses.
  18. He needs to look the talent and coaching on his team.
  19. So maybe we don't have to tar and feather Neufeld just yet? I wonder if the Riders are regretting dumping him.
  20. Loffler's decline in effectiveness is a puzzlement, all right. Could Hall have changed Loffler's role and responsibilities so that he is no longer comfortable with his play?
  21. Hardly hate. Bowman is being criticized not for his personality or behaviours but for his on-field performance or lack thereof. Fair game.
