Welcome to this forum which usually, but not always entertaining. You have our sympathies for living in Alberta.

If the Edmonton Sun has the same degree of credibility and integrity as the Winnipeg Sun and all the other Sun papers, I would not put much stock in this report. Reilly had the same expression as someone who had to clean out a septic tank during the game. Body language is not infallible but its usually pretty darned accurate, and Reilly's looked to express a lot of dissatisfaction.

No real point in further slagging Maas- he is a dead man walking and is probably packing all the while dreading The Phone Call. Can't be fun to be him these days.

Samuel Lenghorn Clemens' non de plume was Mark Twain. He took the name from the calls sounders would make as they threw out measuring weights on lines at the front of Mississippi steamboats to determine channel depth. The channels changed yearly so had to be re-marked every few months.

The trouble with stupid people is that they do not realize that they are stupid. I think Sam Clemens said that.

Yes, but his detractors will always say that he Sukhs.

Whatever kind of goat gonad supplements Lulay was on have worn off and their defence is porous.

I would have believed that performance if they had done a field amputation on the spot.

Would that not fall under the heading of "unsportsmanlike conduct"?

No matter the outcome, this will be a memorable game for many reasons. Not the least of these is that one team or the other will have bragging rights for six months while the other will be proposing excuses and/or damning their coaching. This is for all the marbles and may even have greater emotional value than the western final the following week.

I cannot see Trestman committing himself to another team until his wife's health is resolved, and maybe not even then for awhile. Tate signing in Regina is a "meh"- I guess they need all the sub-par QB's they can find.

I would think that the Eskies and Lions would also be interested.

The game was almost painful to watch, and reached levels of apathy that should not exist.

The problem being that Sutton is usually tackled behind the line. -
They could make the game more appealing to locals in Mexico if the O-linemen could wave red flags and the D-linemen could stick bandelliras into the opposing quarterbacks. And every time the offence makes a TD, they get to swill some worm-laden teqilla.

During my university days when I was younger (and dumber, if that was possible), after a few beers our group got to arguing if farts were combustible. One of the gang a Quebecois named Daniel was determined to prove it one way or another once and for all, so he felt flatulence coming on, bent over and dropped his drawers. Another lit up a lighter a few inches away and waited for the blast of gas. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a wet fart, which doused the lighter and ensured that no such experiment was ever attempted again.

Never heard of Wang Chungh? Music to the ears. -
He's pretty short, is he not? Would that make him a half-Nelson?
