Dyson was flat-out mean and gets my vote. Maybe it had to do with him being just an average O-lineman and he had to compensate but jeez.

It seems to me that there has been a lot more squabbling in this forum than usual lately and I have not enjoyed reading the postings as much as usual as a result. Has it seemed that way to others?

Not sure if this will apply to the current Bombers, but every season there are 2-3 highly improbable upset wins in the CFL. The Montreal-Hamilton was one of those, so we are due for a couple more. Damned few sure wins in theCFL, even with all of the weak sisters this year.

Ah, I remember it well- one of the highlights of the season.

A whole budding career is being wasted. Simonise had all the physical tools but lacked something critical.

Wright seems to be an interesting pickup- the right size, passport and experience. I am curious to see if he actually takes the field and who he replaces.

I do not know if we lose all that much with Lawlor, so let Matthews get all the rest he needs. Same with Bighill.

Would like to go with Harris, but forced to choose Streveler.

Not so sure. Neither team keeps the other teams' coaches awake at night, so it ought to be a close game and maybe even an entertaining one, so long as the Riders lose.

The O-line had to be getting ticked at the late hits on Nichols and other Bombers and this was the result.

And if/when the other receivers- Whiteside and Matthews (or his sub) hit their stride, Adams ought to be open a lot more often.

That was a dumb challenge by O'Shea- he could have much better used it to review the hit on Nichols. Matthews is probably gone for a month.

For me there were a number of takeaways from the game: the fledgling O-line did just fine for almost the whole game, Ottawa decided that the only way they could compete is to make every second play a dirty one, the Bombers really need Bighill in the middle, Streveler has not shown conclusively that he is ready to be a starter in this league, Fenner is not a write-off, and the Bombers have to be considered the best team in the league.
