  1. I wonder if Jordan is going to suck.
  2. As regards the Rider/Argo game, it seems to me that the Argos have QBs (Franklin and Bethel-Thompson)who might be good enough, but I do not see the Riders as having anyone close to those (with all due respect to Mr. Bennett). So maybe my favouring the Argos may not be so wrong.
  3. Well, considering the circumstances of his death, he was definitely a knit-wit.
  4. The only "if" is whether he and Nichols have synced yet. I suspect we can expect a few plays where Matthews is open but zigs when Nichols expects him to zag. All will be well.
  5. O'Shea is just being coy.
  6. He will have to Duke it out for that honour.
  7. Thank God our hospitals' ERs are being overhauled to make them more efficient.
  8. If I was an Argo fan, I would only vote that late at night so as to avoid being outed.
  9. If a "Little person" salutes you, would that be a "micro-wave?"
  10. I may well be wrong on the Rider-Argo game but I am willing to be just so that I do not feel like I am cheering for the Riders.
  11. That doesn't really matter.
  12. Three correct out of four ain't bad.
  13. He's playing quarterback AND pass blocking????
  14. He should enjoy that while he can.
  15. I would venture to guess they will win between 3 and 5 games this year. At most.
  16. Harris
  17. Nothing but night games, though.
  18. The Argos and Alouettes have some hope because they have credible coaches but the same cannot be said for either the Lions or the Riders. This is as unbalanced a league as I have seen in a long while.
  19. Lets look at the bright side. Parity in the league is good- right? Well, the Lions, Als, Argos and Riders are equally pathetic and when they play each other, it will be entertaining and with unpredictable outcomes. And that's what watching sports is all about, yes?
  20. From all reports, Reilly was on good terms with all of his old teammates and I suspect that led to the Esks' D-line taking it easy on him when they had their hands on him. Had it been anyone else behind center for BC, they would have been dismembered.
  21. If the Lions were playing well, he could wear mukluks and a tutu, but he looks as silly as his team.
  22. It looked like most of the team is already fixed in a veterinary sort of way.
  23. Disagree. He found a parade and got in front of it. What he did do is bring in a lot of felons.
  24. Yes, we did not lay a beating on BC like Edmonton did last night, but it was the first real game of the year, and our parts were still meshing. The next game against the Esks should tell us a lot about the Bomber O-line and the Esks' D-line. I still hold that the Esks' O-line is highly suspect and vulnerable.
  25. Now that's hitting below the belt.
