Pokey's return will likely mean the team gets a bit better but I doubt that it will prevent the Blue from flirting with a .500 record, staggering into the playoffs and getting soundly trounced in the first round, I fear this will somehow justify keeping the same cast of characters for yet another year of futility.

Agree about Schoen. If Walters cannot come up with someone with two good legs and able to catch a ball, Walters ought to be shot. Pylon Logan and Mitchell have not been worth waiting for.

Realistically, who here expected to win? On the other hand, the Bombers shot themselves in the feet- repeatedly. If not for several bonehead plays, victory was possible. Yup. We were pretty much doomed to lose, what with the coaching and general lack of talent, so why put Shoen out there and bugger him up maybe for good? Those four catches could have easily been made by others.
