  1. Now we are gonna see if we actually have a defence.
  2. Another bad omen, if you believe in such.
  3. It's up to Streveler to prove them wrong.
  4. Argos stacking the box already.
  5. He did not comment on such as far as I can recall.
  6. I did not like O'Shea throwing shade on Streveler after the last post-game interview. He hinted that he did not like Streveler's performance, so that tells me that we may be seeing Terry Wilson a lot sooner than we might expect.
  7. I think Streveler will have a good game, but it will not enough for him to assume the starter's job. Oliviera will rack up 100 yards or close to it. The D-line will perform well, but the defence will still give up 30+ points. O'Shea will assure us that everything is going to plan. This forum will be unbearable tomorrow. Walters will be invisible.
  8. The Bombers coach(es) were winning last year and the year before but were rightfully criticized for the slow rot that was setting in. Those levelling criticisms correctly predicted that the team was spiraling downward due to coaching issues and these were not being addressed in any meaningful way. And so it has come to pass in 2025.
  9. Brown looking like a real CFL QB and Calgary QB has a helluva arm. Dyce's squad looks like they are gonna win this one.
  10. I am not sure that anything less than a Doug Flutie-grade game will move him ahead of Collaros in O'Shea's mind. Maybe not even then.
  11. Agree that collectively our whole defence has been sub-par with only 2 or 3 consistently solid.
  12. Exactly right. We can criticize our NAT guys, but we sure don't have the IMPs to make a noticeable difference if we were to change that up. Our DL is a mess and it doesn't predicate at all on how many reps Jake Thomas is getting. That is a symptom of the problem not the cause. Vaughters has underperformed his contract as well. RIght now we are not getting reliable play from anyone on our DL and a good portion of our secondary. Exactly. The problem isn't that we are sitting massively talented players and refusing to play them. The problem is we lack talent across the board on the DL. Disagree. Damned few players walk onto the field for the first time and dominate. Most need time to get up to speed and learn to mesh with the other players and getting a few reps does not accomplish that.
  13. What???? Lofton at LT???? And Mitchell to PR???? Are they hoping someone will claim him? The only upgrade I can see is J. Jones backing up WLB but he otta be in the middle. Kramdi is quick enough to be useful at safety but he has a terrible time reading plays well enough to be in the right place at the right time. All this smacks of desperation.
  14. Walters impressed me as being intelligent and made the transition from coordinator to GM seamlessly and well, so he is not blind or stupid. He must have had a heart-to-heart with O'Shea prior to the start of the season and laid out clear expectations about should and should not happen again. Thus, O'Shea has to know that the same old, same old would not be good enough. Sooooo....if O'Shea either has tacit or overt blessing for business as usual, OR this is a middle-finger salute to Walters.
  15. I suggest that so long as O'Shea is in charge, the player changes will be token changes unless driven by necessity.
  16. One would absolutely expect Streveler's INT and even reception numbers to be worse than Collaros' stats due to lack of first-unit reps. That Streveler went to Stearns often and successfully last game was probably a reflection of them working out together as second-team players. That Streveler did as well as he did in a losing cause is encouraging.
  17. If another loss on Friday, even an ugly loss, doesn't provide the impetus for coaching changes, then we are likely strapped in for the rest of the year with only a dim prospect of making the western playoffs.
  18. Banks has the size 6'4"vs 6'1" but Singer has a much better yards per catch. and played in the NFL
  19. Only if we remain status quo in coaching.
  20. O'Shea has repeatedly and obviously proven himself to be rigid in opposing productive change. He and possibly Walters as an enabler are the obstacles to a rapid turnaround. My read of O'Shea's personality is that he will not accede to change and if ordered to make the needed changes, he will resist and/or quit. If Walters refuses to give him an ultimatum, we may have a two-for-one transaction as I don't think Wade Miller will put up with that.
