I do not see it as anywhere close to likely, but Bombers cannot allow the Redblacks to get ahead for any length of time.

If the team is better by trading him for some needed pieces, you do it.

We ought to restrain our slagging of Dinwiddie et all. This weekend's game so far have shown that underdogs can win, or, in the case of the Lions, scare the beejeebers out of the favoured team.

But Neisen doesn't have a street named after him like Rod Black. So there.

I have no hatred for Collaros at all. He was instrumental in the Bomber Grey cup wins but particularly last year and again this, he is not the player he was and will not be again, except in short terms. His aging cannot be denied and inevitable. He is very well paid and has some market value this year- next year, not much. There is the business side of pro sports which does not allow for sentimentality. The team comes first. Period. It is yet to be proven absolutely that Brown is a worthy successor who will take the team to the Cup, but he certainly looks the part. The whole offence seems to come alive when he is behind center, and that is what we need. Yes, he could be injured, but who knows?

What would we do without Collaros? Lawson seems to be injured a lot.

With Collaros now 6-gamed, we are reduced to having Elgersma and Perkins as backups. Who could have foreseen this?

Zach Collaros is ruled out against Ottawa, after suffering a neck injury against Hamilton, and has been placed on the six-game injured list. Dru Brown will make his second straight start. Its almost like Collaros has become more brittle each season.

Buck discovered a short passing game.

Gotta admit- Esks have a pretty good defence.

Buck's offensive line is....well....offensive. No running game explained.

Brice has not looked like an all-star, but he has not had the reps with his receivers and it looked to me that on one of the interceptions, the receiver gave up on the ball for a second. Brice's throwing mechanics look OK, so am not ready to give up on him yet. That BC O-line is going to get all their QBs killed, though. Elks' defence is very good.

O'Shea and his decisions have been the problem for the past 2-3 years and unless he has a revelation on the road to Damascus, he will continue to be. It looks like Walters has lashed himself to O'Shea and will go down together. With Maas coaching him, he may reach a better potential.
