Week 11 Games

We start the week with BC at Calgary, two team under .500 both chasing the Bombers, it would be great if they could both lose but I guess go Lions

Anytime the Bombers win and the Riders lose...

  • Gutsy performance by Hamilton... Great play by Stubblefield to end it, that's the kind of play the Bombers have been missing on defence

Everyone is taking turns looking awful. So far the big difference is Davis Alexander being so great he can overcome Montreal's bad D and terrible special teams. The league is wide open. I'd say basi

Could be a slog fest, raining in Calgary right now.

They'll be lucky if 10000 show up. Fans today are just wusses.

10000? Looks like 100

Wow that's a pretty empty stadium, kinda sad what's happened in Calgary

Not a bad game so far considering the conditions which really don't look all that bad on tv

Good efforts on the part of many players on both sides. Nice to see and makes for an entertaining and competitive game.

Now that was a statement hit by Williams!

Well that’s something you don’t see an injured VA lying on top of a BC player and the BC can’t move

Stamps lose VA and Mills but it's BC who's imploding late in the game.

BC intent of giving the game away, Rourke picked, Stamps TD, kick off return fumbled, VA on the sideline injured, Mills in the room injured

BC not dead yet with a missed FG, no point

BC knocking on the door

BC take the lead

Pretty exciting back and forth game. Love the BU Stamp QB under a lot of pressure but seems to have some poise.

Back up QB Love throws a pick in the end zone, game over

Was a good game but one mistake to by the young back up

I'd guess around 7000 were there. hard to tell in a 35000 seat stadium. Most of the rain had stopped by the time the game started. Calgary has become such a shitty sports town. It never was like that when our family first moved here in 1990.

Are BC and Calgary both as mediocre as the Bombers? It seems all three teams shoot themselves in the foot with regularity.

The league is wide open. I'd say basically anyone but Hamilton and Ottawa could win it all.

BC has won 3 in a row to get back in it at 4-5. They also have an excellent QB, a stable of WR options and 2 solid rbs. However they do have two games left against Saskatchewan and Montreal.

Yeah BC looks like the best bet to finish 3rd in the division at the moment but they've been very inconsistent including last night even though they scraped out the win

Big difference between BC and Winnipeg right now is that they are probably headed in opposite directions - BC has exciting young talent like Horvath and Rourke while the Bombers are not quite as young and exciting.

Think the Bombers had the most rookie starters in the league before Ottawa blew up their roster the past 3-4 weeks.

Think it's more who they are than not being young enough.

other than Vaval...who do we have who could be considered exciting young talent...or even up and coming???? I think Reese is in the up and coming category..he already is very sound, and quite good....end of yr and into yr 2 I expect a lot

Do you see the size of Justin McInnis & Keon Hatcher? Then there are our smurfs.

yeah they have a couple speed guys in Jackson and Berryhill...smaller dudes...But then have those 2 and Cottoy...to get mismatches and win physical battles...We have one guy currently to do that..Clercius and we misuse him almost in a criminal way

Reese yeah.

Smith. Gatkouth. Major Williams possibly. Maybe Jaworski but that could be wishful thinking.

No one really on O.

I hear size doesn't matter.
