Yup. We have 5 CFL games left, and although I want this pathetic season's edition of the Bombers to be euthanized, I am sad that we will not be particpating in the post- season beyond today. The Grey Cup game has lost much of its luster for me, If the Bombers were a good team beaten by a better team, there would be some consolation in that. These Bombers are, on a good day, a mediocre team and on bad days, a terrible one. Although most of the blame is not on the players, they will still feel the brunt of the loss as will the fanes. Such is life (and football).

Those precedents make me feel hopeful despite misgivings about getting butt-kicked in the game.

Am angry at Bombers for what happened to Streveler- even with my limited medical knowledge, it was obvious to me that Streveler ought not to have been brought back with that highly questionable knee= it was a disaster waiting to happen. Wilson does not look like the second coming of Doug Flutie.but given his very limited game time, a porous O-line and a totally crappy OC, he has looked reasonably OK. And Peterson and Echols have looked decent. BTW- we are gonna be trounced in the ESF.
