  1. Clercius has been a bit of a disappointment. He is still dropping passes that he ought to have caught and his blocking for a big man is suspect. We can blame some of this on the quarterbacking, but he seems to have hot his ceiling. BOLO was better.
  2. Guess he wasn't. With O'Shea's choices on defence, unless the front 7 can get lots and lots of pressure on Harris it is gonna a looong afternoon for the Big Blue and fans. We can only hope that the Rider O-line is as bad as it was against the Stamps.
  3. I think that the Rider O-line is average on their best days and vulnerable. Combine that with a brittle, possibly wounded Trevor Harris and that ought to mean that a vigorous Bomber rush will sideline Harris by halftime. If so, and Collaros plays as well as last game, we have a shot at deflating the Riders in their own playpen.
  4. At 5'10" and 185lb, he's gonna have to work hard.
  5. If the three-year recovery is accurate for Shoen, then we should not be expecting great things this season and by the time the three year period is over, he will not be a spring chicken any more. As far as Mitchell is concerned, IMO he has shown very little in either catches or ability to separate himself from defenders, so it ought not be too hard to find a better replacement. He may yet have a breakout game, but right now he looks like a bust. We got troubles in River City.
  6. 6'4" dropback pure passer. Seems to have a good arm.
  7. Unless Dinwiddie comes with him, no thanks, Can we trade coaches?
  8. Hardrick berated his guard after the play and it looked like he expected the guard to have picked up the rusher.
  9. Worse yet- he is ineffective.
  10. Arbuckle is living proof that a mediocre player can thrive under a good coach and that a good player under a bad coach will not.
  11. Nooooooo. A recipe for conflict and disaster. One way or another, the chances of the Bombers going to the Grey Cup game are very, very small, and firing the coach and/or GM midseason would send a message.
  12. Except that Bighill was nowhere near ready to start the season, is still not ready and may never be. Forced O'Shea's hand- or maybe Walters made the decision.
  13. That knockdown might have won the game,
  14. alouettes keying on Oliviera but he still produces
  15. And didn't genuflect when entering The Presence.
  16. Still wondering why we waited for Logan. Or Mitchell, for that matter.
  17. The thought is inducing PTSD (pre-traumatic stress disorder)
  18. The mometum has definitely shifted to the Birds
  19. Not sure if Mitchell fits the description any more.
  20. He needs all the help he can get.
