If Walters and/or Miller had to order O'Shea to cut Thomas, that ought to have been the icing on the cake of reason to send O'Shea down the road with Thomas. So......O'Shea gets and extension instead. Bizarre.

I think that a quote from Pete Estes, former president of GM is appropriate here. Estes once said that GM is not in business to make cars. It is in business to make money and currently it was doing so by building cars. Miller may have taken the same tack- that the Bombers are in business to make money and the football operations were a means to that end. Ergo, so long as the faithful continue to show up in large numbers, there is no need for change. If it was/is common knowledge around the league that O'Shea's way of doing things was inevitably leading to a crappy team with Walters and Miller passively accepting that, why would coaching staff who had other, better options want to come here?

As been proposed ad nausem in this forum, this is not about just what is going on this season- this has been fermenting for the past three seasons. There were plenty of warning signs but the Trinity ignore them all.

Incidents are often happenstance and unpredictable. Patterns and trends are what count, and neither flatter the Bombers.

Fans have NOT forgotten- that's why there is the anger. Last game looked an awful lot like the worst of the Reinbold (etc) era.

We are near, if not already at the point, where the season is decided, for better or worse, and changing coaches will do little to affect the outcome of the season. It may be of value to make a point by sacking one or two of the assistant coaches, though. I would like to see Khari back here.

Harrison Frost looks to have potential. all that teams that played looked like they upped their games, which does not bode well for the Bombers. The Bombers' runway is very short.
