Well I now have to cheer for the Riders two weeks in a row. I feel dirty.

Might want to let riderstronson know on riderfans of the positive direction spearheaded by management. He believes signing O'Shea and Walters long term will doom the Bombers to mediocrity. No guarantees either way but the Bombers are showing positive signs and it is translating into wins.

Not sure how they'll do,it but Rider fans will show this as evidence of a league wide conspiracy against their team.

Bombers got fortunate with that fumble call no question. A lot of bad or missed calls that game. Dumb question: on that roughing the passer call on Westerman, wasn't he essentially tripped into Jennings? Didn't look like it was his fault, unless they felt he deliberately extended his roll into Jennings.

I just went on blood pressure medication and the Bombers are doing their damnedest to put me in an early grave. They don't seem to want to win any games the easy way anymore. Think we got a lucky break on the Harris non-fumble but reffing tends to even out over time.

Who says the Bombers weren't one of the teams who were initially in on him? Reads to me like he considered his options (including the Bombers) then called them back with his interest.

As much as a Riders win helps us, I have at tough time cheering for them.

Very pleased with what Walters has done with this trade. Got some quality assets for someone who was probably done here. One can take the view that he made a mistake in signing Willy to his big contract and then corrected the mistake. I for one am not going to second guess him if he ends up having a good career in TO. If Willy just needs change of scenery, then so be it.

Demski hasn't shown much this year in Regina and Ripper is correct in pointing out some of his flaws. However, with the right coaching and proper usage I think he can fulfill his potential. I hope that is with the Bombers.

Agreed. Nichols was better than Willy but the running game and oline play was a big reason too. Right now Nichols is plying better than Willy but I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to continue.

How do you know your defence is better? A lot of new faces and it may take time for the personnel to gel (true for both Sask & Winnipeg).
