  1. It may have changed but I know in the 90's if your school did not have a football team(or whichever sport you want to play) you could go play for the closest school with a team. I know this because Matt Sheridan went to Silver Heights and played for Sturgeon Creek. I also went to John Taylor and was going to play for Sturgeon but started playing basketball instead.
  2. As for changes next year New MLB - Hurl is not the answer New DC - I am sick of the bend but don't break, we had it in the early 2000's, early 2010's and now. And guess what we did not win a grey cup New WR - We need a speed guy that will break the field open. Re-sign Dressler and Adams, I want to see what Givens can bring after a training camp and I think Coates and Wolitarsky will be good for NA content Not a change but sign all the Oline Backup DB/SAM LB - I want someone who will be a good SAM backup and to fill in for Moe while he rehabs Back-up QB's
  3. You say all of this but how do you know that the play was not changed at the line due to Defensive alignment. As you said and it was obvious that the rookies cause mistakes, these rookie WR on multiple occasions did not run to the correct depth on routes and the pass was either off target or short of the first down.
  4. The 3 biggest points in this game are: Gables' touchdown where he dragged 9 different Bombers into the endzone. Hurl got beat bad and then the us going for the strip and holding him up bit us in the ass cause they got the push. The fake punt: everyone complained the first year that MOS was a coach that was coaching to not lose games and not win games. This was a call made to win a game. If they were successful this would have been a different story The multiple 3rd and 2's that lead to punts and field goals instead of first downs and touchdowns. This was a game were kicking a bunch of FG's was not going to cut it
  5. You are starting to sound like a rambling idiot. Did you read what you typed before you hit send. In that case the player made the mistake not Hall. How about you admit your wrong on that one. Yes Hall should be replaced but at the same time see there was good calls he made.
  6. One of those deepballs he had the right coverage called, cover 3 would have had that perfectly but the DB bit on the shallow route and missed Bowman running the deep route.
  7. For bringing him home, I would say let the contract happen in the off season when they can get a better feel for what is happening. This will also allow for his agent to go get his CFL licensing taken care of or maybe he will get an agent who knows how the CFL works. In the end it is not the player trashtalking the CFL it is his agent who does not know how things work and is trying to play hardball before reading the rule book.
  8. Wow wrong again......he was already on the PR for a week. But hey go figure you still think that it is Osh et al's fault that he left. He could not handle the PR so he bailed.....guess what he is not coming back....not sure if the guys on the team would take him back either.
  9. We did not cut him.......as he was on the practice roster he can walk away at any point. He left the team and was not cut.....
  10. If Wild is healthy think he could play Safety, he did in the NFL and college and then move Loffler into Mo's LB spot.
  11. I was going to say look for the only other person in the stadium.
  12. Hefney was one of my favorite bombers of all time and he currently needs our help. His players insurance ran out and still needs another surgery to be able to use his right hand. For a right handed man this must be devastating. I think he would make an awesome DB's coach once he can get use of his arm back. http://ottawacitizen.com/sports/football/cfl/costs-benefits-jonathan-hefneys-injury-odyssey-shows-plight-of-athletes-in-canada https://www.gofundme.com/4ik88e0
  13. Charles Roberts would run into a mass of humanity and pop out the other side while the defense is looking at each other trying to find him. As for a receiver, he was better than good it is just you had the likes of Milt, Gordon and Bruce(You could add DA in there too) that were usually the release valve, AKA throw it up and let one of them find it. It is scary how often it worked. The 2 years with Blink and Sellers were 2 of my most favorite years, you either had to deal with a guy you could not tackle because he made you miss or the guy that you did not want to tackle cause you ended up on the wrong side of a mac truck.
  14. If it was the gunmetal Lions uniforms they would be number 2 for me.
  15. THe amount of EX bomber DB's on other teams is kind of shocking. I don't think anyone we have released in the past couple years is out of the game.
  16. We should have traded them Addison last week.
  17. That is great but the ball has not left his possession yet, it is still in his hand and arm, this GIF should include the next couple frames as it does not tell the whole story.
  18. I still have a feeling that Lankford might sneak in somewhere. Can return, decent size, and caught the ball well after that first bobble.
