I've seen multiple clips of Duron Carter doing it as well. Does that make him a locker room leader?

No kidding. Collaros, Nichols, Streveler, Arbuckle, and Masoli are all better QBs than MBT. Why would we pine for the 5th best QB available? MBT as a backup if and only if Strev is in the NFL. Otherwise signing him would be nonsensical imo.

That game was garbage time. He had nothing and was down 23 points until we decided to quit playing that day. That wasn't MBT beating us, that was us checking out way too early in the game and then losing all the momentum.

I was hoping for Jason Maas and that someone would make fun of his ears.

It helped their offence out a lot. What hurt BC was how much they paid for Reilly and even more so was the fact they let 10 out of 12 of their D starters go and replaced them with pylons because they couldn't afford Reilly's contract, and their FA shopping spree, and keep their roster intact. Had Reilly taken baby steps the Lions would have been much better.
-
For sure. They were devoid of leadership and character throughout the entire organization from ownership through to waterboy.

If QB is your need then it can help out immensely. Comparing Edmonton is not an apt comparison. Harris was not making them better at QB because they had Reilly the year before. Also, QB was never Edmonton's problem, it was defence and poor discipline.
-
Yeah...the Argos really were rudderless at QB this year. Not a single guy in that room that could rally the troops.

MBT is a bit of a flake though, I don't think he inspires the guys around him very well. He's got a great arm but lacks leadership qualities imo. I could be out to lunch on that but just watching him on the sidelines and in his interviews the guy is...what's the word...a little different.

I'm with you on that. I wanna be drinking by the campfire on Friday night as much as possible. I like the Thursday games. However, I can understand why many don't. For those that don't please take solace In the fact that, somewhere out in the nether regions of internet pariah-land, gbill is losing his marbles about the Thursday games and probably writing letters to the CFL about it while getting banned from whatever forum he now frequents.

I suspect that when married men do this it's so that they can get their wife to quit hating their buddies and start hating their buddies wife instead. Meow...
-
Chris is clearly in the first couple years of marriage before the Fun Police has eviscerated the boy inside the man. Nichols has been married a few and his succubus...I mean wife...has clearly drained his zest for life and it is reflected by the distant look of sadness in his eyes. A telling trait of marriage single guys...when some married guy tries to tell you marriage is the best thing they've ever done...just look at their dim, sad eyes and know that is what their wife programmed them to say.

In Mike Kelly's defence it is very hard to run the jet sweep 61 times a game from the shotgun.

Rigmaiden turning down the GM job in Montreal is a huge relief as well. I was more upset about thinking we lost him than I was about Lapo leaving. RR has done some very good scouting for us in his time here and now he'll do more.
-
I'll be astonished if you guys have a win by Labor Day,
-
I would. Their is a coaching SMS in place and a 5 year contract could be crippling if MOS ever lost the room.
-
About time. Long overdue.
-
Why don't you wait until he actually signs somewhere before deciding what is bullshit or not. Geez that;s weak, even by your standards of illogic.

Zach Collaros and his concussion history are not in a position to rule anything out right now. It's unlikely there will be any teams looking to throw a wad of cash at him so he is simply not ruling anything out. As he should. If Toronto comes calling for him with a dollar number in the same neighborhood as us, and I doubt Walters will offer him much, he will go there.
-
What projections? I said Zach Collaros is damaged goods, you are the one making the idiotic claim that his health is less of a concern than Nichols.
-
QBs, both current and prospective, are going to be real interested in whether we re-sign Bryant and Hardrick.

There are many reasons to like ZC ahead of MN, but it is ridiculous to suggest that he is less of an injury risk than quite frankly anyone. ZC has a concussion history that would have retired most players already. Love his play, but let's not minimize the risk to signing him. If we sign him we better have a very solid backup plan because the chances of him lasting the season are remote.
