  1. The first time he is pressured and can't step into his throw he will be relying on arms and obliques solely and he will not be able to make those throws.....and that's his bread and butter. What makes him effective is his ability to elude and make the nice off balance throws. Can't do that with his injury. I will be surprised if they actually start him imho. I don't care if you have Doug Fluties behind center, if he is injured and can't make all the throws you are better off playing your back up.
  2. I hope that's exactly what they do because that my friend will be a game plan with zero chance of success.
  3. Get to Fajardo early and lay one in on his ribs. He'll be done like dinner.
  4. In a game the QB rarely gets to be perfectly balance, and have a slow and easy release. Can he throw on the run? The video I saw he was backpedaling very slowly and gingerly and his throwing motion was the same.
  5. I have seen many short clip videos come from closed practices. This is nothing new. The team will allow certain portions to be filmed.
  6. Rider fans tend to get frustrated when confronted with intelligent conversation and generally leave of their own accord and go back to the internet forum equivalent of kindergarten known as Riderfans where they can bask in the glory of their 45 IQ.
  7. You can see by how slow and deliberate his release is. He can't throw against his body right now. Playing catch you don't have to but in a game if you deliberately and slowly point your toes to every target it will either be an interception or you will be creamed. His backpedal is very slow too. Absolutely no coil in his throwing motion. He is maxing out his range at 10-15 yards right now. Zero chance he can suddenly launch the ball 60 yards by Sunday. He may start but he will definitely not be able to make every throw needed.
  8. For sure. Just saw the video Fajardo doing 10 yard passes and his backpedal and throws look like he is straining to me. No core rotation in either motion. All arm and no stepping into anything. That's fine for playing catch but in a game a slow and deliberate throwing motion will equal interceptions.
  9. Obliques are essential to literally every movement a QB makes. If it is not healed 100% his performance will be drastically altered. His spin move, for instance, could not be done effectively. It is very painful to move with an oblique tear. I've had one before and I've broken ribs. I'll take the broken ribs.
  10. A part of his job relies on him staying in tune with the Bomber faithful. A fan forum is a pretty good place to visit to do that.
  11. I am sure it would shock them to find out Bomber fans hate them.
  12. Media reports in Saskatchewan say he ain't throwing. If he can't throw today, he's not throwing Sunday...or at least not well.
  13. They were hoping his return would distract the Bombers D. It didn't. We keyed on Begelton and they had nothing.
  14. Yes, a total ruse that involved them risking 1st place by playing Harker against Edmonton. Give your head a shake man.
  15. What contenders are hiring for HC? None that I am aware of. If you are suggesting he will stay in Winnipeg over going to BC as a HC....I don't think so.

I can guarantee we will be smacking Fajardo in the ribs every chance we get too.
  17. Anyone who thinks that the Riders can beat us without a healthy Fajardo is smoking crack. The only way they win a game like that is if we hand it to them. I don't see a healthy Fajardo happening, and I don't believe we will hand them the game.
  18. I think you'll be cursing Ryan's more. If he outkicks his coverage down the middle of the field even once Grant will be in the end zone behind him before the whistle blows. Ryan is a definite liability against a team with an absolute stud returner.
  19. They barely were able to squeak by a Logan Kigore led Esks squad.
  20. Hughes is like the month of March start like a lion and ends like a lamb. Has their been any Hughes spottings since Labor day? Has he played? The invisible man. I guess that's what happens to old football players with substance abuse issues.
  21. I think we can dominate both sides of the ball. We are DEFINITELY the better OL and the DLs are about even but we are more disciplined.

I think Mike Reilly and his contract make that possibility pretty remote.

Based on the scoreboard I think you are right. We would have won without Strev. However, having him and the way he played basically sealed it and left no doubt. We were a better team because of him.

I don't think we will ever get a confirmed anything about the status of a Bomber player injury. Probably just speculation or rumors they have heard, but that's as good as it gets right now.

We destroyed the Stamps on the final score. All that matters.
