Two gutsy wins in a row, great job Jets. The game seemed to turn after the fight and Poolman injury, maybe they're on to something.

Well if nothing else this is a good confidence boost going into the playoffs, but don't kid yourself, they still have issues on both offence and defence, passive coaching isn't going to get it done when it really matters.

You should have tried to find the study, I couldn't but did find more insight into it,
    https://nypost.com/2019/10/22/climate-change-is-making-el-ninos-stronger/
The author of the report didn't even make the claim, that came from a climate scientist not even associated with the study.
Fake News is alive and well.

Since 1981, carbon sinks have grown world wide by 12.4%. It appears that when they did their projections, nobody thought to include this possibility. But oh yeah, the science is settled just ask Greta.

Does anyone know, or think they know, what the actual global temperature is today in degrees C?
Please provide a link if you can, thanks.

Mark, I'm going to make this as simple as I can. All those predictions for extremes are based on a doubling of CO2, and corresponding rise in temperature, which isn't predicted to occur until 2050. What part of this do you not understand?

    Flat-earthers, too funny
While many of the original approximations have since been improved, one—that the Earth’s surface and atmosphere are locally flat—remains in current models. Correcting from flat to spherical atmospheres leads to regionally differential solar heating at rates comparable to the climate forcing by greenhouse gases and aerosols. In addition, spherical atmospheres change how we evaluate the aerosol direct radiative forcing.

Well you were wrong about the carbon sinks so at least you learned something even if you don't realize it, you're welcome.

Don't believe me, here's NASA saying the same thing,
Every year, about half of the 10 billion tons of carbon emitted into the atmosphere from human activities remains temporarily stored, in about equal parts, in the oceans and plants. “While our study did not address the connection between greening and carbon storage in plants, other studies have reported an increasing carbon sink on land since the 1980s, which is entirely consistent with the idea of a greening Earth,” said co-author Shilong Piao of the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences at Peking University.

When the LAI goes up so does the sink, it's that simple.
But that wasn't really the point, the point was the models don't know how to handle it, just like clouds and the many other factors involved, it's far from a settled science or at least it should be to most rationale people.

So JT was willing to 'break the law' to save 10,000 jobs in Quebec (SNC Lavalin) but is stuck to do anything about the 200,000 lost energy jobs and counting in the rest of Canada, presumably because of Climate Change, which Canada can't really do anything about, except be a moral leader for the rest of the world.
    Makes perfect sense.

Transmountain, like all the rest, is tied up in court because of the U.N. Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which is just an extension of the IPCC.

But Communism is the way forward, alrighty then.
And where does Pallister and Manitoba fall in that example? Right where every Conservative government ends up after years of NDP recklessness, digging us out of the hole and back to balanced budgets. Facts are facts.

Sounds to me like you are advocating for a two tier health care system with private clinics providing the same services as government clinics to reduce wait times? Maybe you are a conservative after all.
