Really showing the fans what the team is made of.  In a year when the cup is coming to your house, you field a team that hasn't done much of anything this year.  No urgency.  No guts.  No passion.  Just collecting a pay cheque and looking to head south to warmer climes.

Ever since the rule change announcement I have noted a ton of plays that wouldn't be possible with the new rules. Catches at the back of the endzone. Missed FG returns. Field goals made.from the 35 and beyond. Lead changes in the final three minutes.
I have seen zero goal posts hit or collided with.
This is going to be a disaster.

This is just a veiled "improving the game" that aligns it more to the NFL.

Shortening the endzone, making FGs harder and allowing teams to kill more time at the end of the game is going to = more exciting games I guess?

Actually I'd say people like yourself are falling over themselves to pump up Streveler.
In four starts, Streveler has 4 td passes and 7 picks in his four starts, while passing for 178 yards per game.
In the 6 games he started and finished Collaros has 11 td passes to 5ints, while passing for 269 per game.
Overall Collaros is at least +2 (13 td passes to 11 ints), while Streveler is -5 (6 tds to 11 ints).

Eh I don’t think we’re nearly as bad as 2004. 2003 is a better comparison. Kenton Keith still haunts my dreams from that year.

I agree the best option is to keep both, but they need to figure out what this team is. We’re a slightly better version of the 2004 team right now. 
Jefferson, Thomas, Neufeld, Wilson, Logan, Vaughters, & probably even Bryant (with an immediate hof induction) shouldn’t be on the team next year. That’s a lot of cash to remake this team in the offseason.

MOS and KW have eight straight 10+ win seasons (with a shot at a 9th), 6 straight WF trips, 5 straight Grey Cup berths with two Grey Cup wins. The team has sold out the first 6 home games with the 7th getting close. Yeah, we're frustrated with both of them but it would be a total surprise if either is let go.

I know the Grey Cup is rarely won in free agency, but somewhere between "yawn" and "full BC circa 2024" would have been nice. I think in a Grey Cup year we all expected at least a small splash.
