  1. This game will be won by our front 7. I'm calling Bighill as our first star..
  2. Who'd have thought that in 2019, we would be happy that we weren't playing against Watson. I thought he was washed up 5 years ago.
  3. I suspect Riders will put a spy on Big Chris. They will be so consumed at stopping the run that if we aren't able to open up the short passing game this time then we never will.
  4. I advocate for the “change of scenery” option. BC and Toronto should trade coaches. Irony is: no one in either city would notice.
  5. Keeping Strev and Woli together might supersede salary for these guys.Of course $ are king but it seems that sticking together would be an important consideration for them both.
  6. Black asked member of ownership group whether he had ever called a CFL game. Prospective owner said no. Rod responded "neither have we". What a bizarrely wonderful response.
  7. Kongbo. It's pronounced......Kongbo
  8. He is surgical in his shite disturbance.
  9. HH - Me, for resisting the urge to fill my ears with molten wax, the fourteenth time Suitor described the rationale for knock down vs. bat down.
  10. Happiest person I've seen all week was the Packer's fan at the downtown street market yesterday. Tim's cup in hand, jersey/beads, Logo shaved into head, cannabis leaf sneakers - talking to guys in Delta-9 t-shirts. Legal weed (for those inclined) + Canadian exchange rate = What's not to like?
  11. What exactly does Jim Bender add to any conversation?
  12. On a somewhat related note, last night I was watching Peyton Manning interview Joe Montana. The topic somehow got onto John Candy. Joe said that Candy was pressing him hard to sign with the Argos (Yes, Montana said Toronto Argonauts) when he was part owner. Joe didn't say whether it was ever a consideration.
  13. He's also our only experienced QB. I don't see Lapo taking those kind of liberties.
  14. Didn't he jump off the Tallahatchie Bridge up round Choctaw Ridge?
  15. I thought that he got tagged by a knee but since he was facing the other way, he assumed it was a helmet. Then the crying started.
  16. Part of the game.
  17. I know that it comes with the turf and that Nichols is a known commodity, but what a shitty set of circumstances for Matt and family if his injury is long term. In his heart of hearts, how much success does Nichols want Streveler to have if it means being replaced by him in the off-season without you having a chance to battle for your job through the playoffs?
  18. I’ve always been partial to German engineering.
  19. I'm sorry, but you need to leave now.
  20. That's why Anesthetists make the big buck.
  21. Propofol is an excellent med. Lol.
  22. If it was a dislocation that needed resetting he would probably receive conscious sedation using propofol (Michael Jackson's fav.) Barring complications, he could be released after an hour. Extenuating circumstances like tissue damage could be an issue that would delay his return to the field. His arm didn't look to be hanging enough for a dislocation but with the shoulder pads it's hard to tell.
  23. Well, this looks oddly familiar.
  24. I thought that I was the only apparition around here.
  25. I counted only 41 defensive miscues tonight, so at least there is improvement on that front
