  1. Unfortunately I'd see other teams throwing big money at him to start. Zach has at least 3 more years left in him (maybe more). I don't see us moving on from him this soon.
  2. The place was open , I saw food and the lights were on. They just didn't have anyone behind the counter for at least 30 minutes while we sat and ate. I hope it does well, the T-Cona area needs much more diversity in its restaurants... we have way to much burger/pizza/american food joints.
  3. Pizza and Perogy planet are take out which are doing very well during COVID. It's the sit down places that took a kick in the pants during the lock down. I went to KP two weeks ago and the new African place was dead... so dead that they had no staff behind the counter! The food looked interesting though I'd give it a try had someone been at the counter.
  4. You are saying that it only takes a couple days of practice for a QB to fly in and learn the system. So you are saying that the receivers and o-line and everyone else need to re-learn our 2018-2019 playbook on top of everything new this year just to make this work. How does that make any logic. The only way any of this works is if Strev is signed and placed as our 3rd string QB running a small sub selection of plays. Rewatch the Montreal game , Mcguire who is a pocket passer was on the run quite a bit the pass protection wasn't nearly as good as what Brown had last week.
  5. In a rain filled game where he was getting little protection yes I watched that game. I also watched every other game and have seen a much different passing attack and far more creativity in the running plays and much more misdirection all around. If what you are saying is true then basically you are saying that Pierce is running a similar offense to LaPolice and that had LaPo stayed we would of had the exact same success.
  6. I say put Stove in on short yardage... nobody is going to push that guy back a yard.
  7. Time to get a Tesla and put it on auto drive
  8. Completely agree, we have seen a few instances of teams being forced to put a receiver in at QB because both rostered QBs go down in injuries.
  9. How much experience does Strev have running a Buck Pierce offense which is far different then a LaPolice offense, How many practices has he attended running this offense compared to McGuire?
  10. So if Zach gets hurt like Kevin Glenn did... then you run the same 6 short yardage plays in the Grey Cup? Wouldn't it make more sense to have McGuire who has been playing and learning our NEW system for the complete system and who can run every single play rather then a vanilla basic offense.
  11. I watch real football yes, I do not base real life football with playing Madden video games and assuming QB's can pick up everything in one week. Most smart coaches wouldn't invest 2 years in a QB only to dump him for the possibility of signing a guy and expecting him to pick up a brand new offense within a week and learn the full play book. If it were so easy then why wouldn't Saskatchewan sign Strev and put him in as a starter against Calgary?
  12. Yes because a DB is exactly the same as a QB.
  13. I can't see Edmonton going back to Jones.
  14. I see zero reason to sign Chris Streveler for this season, the guy would have to learn a completely new system in a matter of a week? It makes no sense for him either since I'd imagine he would like to try making it with another club in the NFL. Now moving forward signing him next season I'm all for it.
  15. At one point it was a high quality good restaurant. Way back in the early 90's.......
  16. It was inevitable that they clean house. I wonder who they reach out for head coach?
  17. I would have to rewatch but from my memory McGuire was being blitzed and was rushed far more then Brown who had a lot of steamboats while playing in a cold buy dry conditions. Brown seemed to have underthrown several balls and could really only throw mid range passes while on the run. McGuire showed crap in Montreal but in his previous pre season and other gameplay the guy clearly can sit in a pocket and throw a deep ball with oomph.
  18. It's pretty simple.... with Maier they win... with BLM they lose. That gap will be even further if the weather condititions become a factor.
  19. No F'ning way, I'll be surprised if the guy even comes back next season.
  20. Now who was the ding dong that said Augustine only breaks one big run and then gets a bunch of 2 yard runs? I would like for that person to apologize.
  21. Fun Mountain has gone through many owners over the years. I think the larger concern is finding someone with the money to buy it and then fix it up. WIth all the indoor waterparks and smaller waterparks around the province I don't think Fun Mountain has the same draw as it once did.
  22. Thank goodness the lady who owns it is a complete nutjob. It's unfortunate that the place is in such bad shape.
  23. Continually asking? Would that be an exaggeration of the truth? People brought up about signing Roosevelt and then having him play instead of McKnight/Bailey. But the moment he was signed Bailey started playing up to potential and I don't remember a single time from that moment on where anyone was DEMANDING on a REGULAR BASIS that we should bench him and put Roosevelt in.
  24. Not many at all? Most people were unsure about Bailey and were not fans of McKnight and thought a veteran receiver who has played above average for his whole career would make a better option. Bailey elevated his game so why not go with the younger cheaper option with potential upside?
  25. Fun fact... Shaq Cooper has never returned kicks in the CFL prior to his recent showing.
