Just want to throw in since I know people who work at the courts, they are MASSIVELY backed up because of COVID so it would not surprise me that everything has taken this long.

When I had worked in private enterprise (10 years ago) we looked into targetted marketing and for a price you can get home and phone information and then pay to have direct ads to specific people. It wasn't cheap but it was 100% available and legal. Same goes with e-mail / personal info online. Similar to telemarketers or flyers in the mail it is legal for them to send out. You can request to be removed from the list. I can't remember the prices but it wasn't cheap that's for sure and it really makes me skeptical when United Way or other charity organizations send these out because the costs are large. As for that message above. It is in extremely bad taste , yes. Unfortunately not against the law.

I think what he is saying is that if Lawler didn't get himself into legal issues then none of this would be a problem. Yes he is correct on that but we cannot reverse time. If we need to point a finger at this point it's the lawyer or possibly his agent for not crossing all t's and dotting all i's and making sure everything was air tight.

It's unfortunate that Winnipeg is so bad that we can't have nice things. I'm sure it hasn't changed but my friend who worked at 7-11 twenty years ago said that the amount of theft on regular items was at a ridiculous level. The low cost of slurpees basically subsidized the crazy high retail shrink. I could only imagine how bad it will be with any sort of booze.

I'm assuming he's trying to make the big play to impress rather then take what is available. He wasn't really like this last season so maybe it is just a pre season thing where he's trying to create a few highlights or give the receiver a shot at making a big play.

Says the guy complaining that the team cannot scout , defense is aging out, and making it seem like the team is just ignoring the few holes we have and is sitting doing nothing. So skimming here... we are upset because we don't have many new names replacing known players? Why? Crapping on the team because they didn't unearth a hidden gem for the d-line? So does every other club easily pick up hidden gems in every off season? Concerned about 30+ year olds... so we should cut Zach because of age? With all the worries about the d-line and lb crew... are we not allowed to recruit guys come NFL cut day or even before?

And this is where I think it stood out that a complete newcomer outshone him in the pre season.

But Dru Brown was playing against the same ham'n'eggers that Saskatchewan lined up against Piggy and was not staying cool and making erractic throws and decisions. Piggy also has yet to play in real game action surrounded by real full time starters to help him. He was doing this with a an oline that wasn't doing great and getting bad snaps.

Also imagine if he had clean snaps going back to him...

As raw as he is, from what I saw he at least kept calm and didn't panic and clearly is a guy that doesn't drop the moment someone makes any sort of contact with him. He looked far more composed and calm dealing with the bad snaps and pressure then Dru Brown did.
