  1. You'r right overall....but there are some degrees between "inconsistent"......and "terrible". For a 30 yr old QB Smith seems to have problems executing the most basic of fundamentals, throwing the ball. I think this was the most alarming thing for Als fans.... he had time to set up his throws and he still sailed the ball way over the receivers heads.... he also seemed very content throwing bombs to the sidelines... I'm not sure if this was designed plays or not? I would think that a few dump offs to Whitaker would of helped immensely in the game.
  2. Come on man, that's just annoying. You know why Toronto was 12 - 1. Because Bishop isn't as bad as people made him out to be. He had 22 TDs and 11 ints that year. You don't play ten years in the league if you are awful. Guys like Max Hall who flame out with no wins are awful. Bishop was simply mediocre... Hall , Boltus, Goltz were awful. He'll win if Defense and ST's score the points for him. Well if Smith keeps playing like he did then sure.... but if he manages the game and has more TD's then INT's then clearly they can win some games. If Bishop back in the day played like Goltz and couldn't even manage 100 yards passing after 3 and a half quarters then Toronto would of lost a tonne of games.
  3. Brandon, you know they sold over 30k tickets for the game. You know a lot of people come from out of town to attend the game. Can't exactly get to the game if the hwy you're travelling on is closed. Though I'm sure what you're saying in tongue in cheek. At least, I hope it is. A true rider fan would take a canoe to the game
  4. Don't worry about that game it's still early, check back in at the end of the season. in 23 years as a coach/GM Wally's teams have won 13 West Div. Championships and 5 Grey Cups while appearing in an additional 4 Cup games. If he would have accomplished half of that for the Bombers people would be lined up from here to Brandon to kiss his ass. The guy is was good but he still made mistakes. Also lots of benefits with Flutie, Dickenson and Garcia... Wally superstar Buono has resorted to Joey Elliott, Buck Pierce And now Beck and Partridge... Had Ottawa stuck with Glenn people would be saying Buono is gone-o..
  5. Jacquie that is the definition of a fair weather fan! If 19000 could make it then why couldn't more.
  6. We should trade Korey Banks to BC for Poblah!

  8. Horrendous lol that is a massive over reaction. A horrendous move is Jyles for Ray. Or dropping six figures on Kelly Lapo and Burke for them to sit at home. It's a move that didn't pan out big whoop. Every team does this. Name one current gm who has never cut a vet they signed or traded for??? Every team has done this. We paid Max Hall and Goltz decent money last year to take a dump in the field... Austin signed Collaros for big money and for him to throw for Goltz like yards and to take ten sacks? Colossal failure. Buono traded for completely done Buck Pierce only for him to retire. Buono massive failure.... Korey Banks was a move that simply didn't pan out. This happens all of the time and it only cost us a bit of cash.
  9. Big time... Bluto was right about the slow release.
  10. I just watched the game.... Hamiltons o line to blame... Collaros may need to only play dome games. The side arm toss is not good in bad conditions and also when being blitzed. The refs early on throwing any penalty they could at Hamilton while blatantly ignoring the holding by Sasks o line and the late hits on Collaros. Hamilton was completely unprepared and that d was sloppy. So many missed tackles. Sask looks prepared and the team looked solid all around. Will be up top unless Durant gets hurt. I think Ottawa legitimately could be 2nd in the East.. We will see how they fair this week.
  11. People knock Bishop.. Wasn't he 12-1 with Toronto and wasn't he the only one who moved the ball under Kelly? We've seen much worse qbs then Bishop.
  12. Lol at TBurgess & 17.. Really a black eye for releasing a guy who didn't perform? So is popp a evil man for letting go of Richardson? Is Taman a buffoon for dumping Etienne after trading away superstar Willy? Every gm makes a move or trade that doesn't work. One miss and multiple hits ... I'll take that any day
  13. Clements lol
  14. He had a 2-1 record despite not being in training camp and pretty much starting with very little practice. Also NFL experience and a big arm with mobility he should be a great cfl qb. Unfortunately his accuracy and decision making is awful.
  15. No quarterback does. That's the reason people forgot how good Ray can be. That Edmonton o-line has been making qbs look poor for years now. Not true.. Most qbs can get sacked and bounce back. For Glenn its one big hit and then he plays scared. Reilly took a real beating (lot of it is his own fault) and that dude can on the next play still toss a deep bomb with players all over him. Glenn doesn't have the "heart" to overcome adversity. He's a really good qb but much easier to rattle then a starting qb should be.
  16. Looooook who is lighting it up !!! http://www.arenafootball.com/sports/a-footbl/aflprd/mtt/jason_boltus_842718.html his # 1 receiver is a familiar face also!! http://www.arenafootball.com/sports/a-footbl/aflprd/mtt/greg_carr_883397.html lulz
  17. I'm sorry, but this is ridiculously FALSE... Glenn does not typically throw 4 interceptions... Nice try though, as ridiculous as it was How so? Back on ourbombers fans would say the exact same thing... Same goes with his time in Hamilton. In Calgary he had a great running game and great protection. The dude doesn't take getting hit well.
  18. Glenn played a typical Glenn game... If he has protection he does well...if he gets hit hard usually it takes a full quarter or two for him to stop playing scared.
  19. Ochocinco isn't a scrub, Deslauriers is decent and Whitaker is great at catching out of the backfield. I would argue that those two are nearly dictionary definitions of scrubs. I'll give you Whitaker even if he's been injured and likely a shell of what he was but Eric Deslauriers? LOL London was known as the guy with bad dropsies. Deslauriers of course never had big stats... He was playing behind a tonne of superstars. The guy has decent hands. Troy Smith is at fault for lobbing balls way over the heads of receivers.
  20. I thought that bcs front seven was great... Secondary not so much. Glenn got hit and was rattled afterwards ... So he is the same old Glenn. BCs receivers are good... The passes were bad and the o line wasn't great. Edmonton special teams won the game with the two fakes. Reilly won't last the year ... Edmonton's o line is awful. Edmonton's defense did really good they may be under rated. Bemavides looked lost again today
  21. As I said in the game day chat Willy has double the amount of TDs then Goltz had all of last year , tossed for more yards then him etc... Already the qbs are better then what we had last season. So even if Willy stinks it up its already better then last year.
  22. Who gives a fack of he was the third choice. He is with us now and played great quit complaining!
  23. I just watched the game.. Bishop is better then Troy Smith... The guy either wouldn't move his legs or when he did move his legs he would hold onto the ball to long. Horrible play calling from Dinwiddie why wouldn't they use Whitaker more? Doug Berry may be getting a call soon again. Hebert with a cheap shot.. No way do I want him on our team. Calgary looked flat on O... The d looked really good. Jock Sanders with the worst punt return to date. Montreal's d looked awful... Montreal may be the Winnipeg 2013 team for this season.
  24. Ochocinco isn't a scrub, Deslauriers is decent and Whitaker is great at catching out of the backfield.
