I disagree... Reid was pretty useless as well. On OB.com I harped on him for being able to only get 1 big gain per game and a whole lot of fall down after getting touched for 2 - 3 yard gains. I remember posting his stats where outside of his one big game against BC... if you took away his one big run per game he would average something tiny like 2.8 yards per carry..... I'm getting the same feeling with Grigsby. Now I know the o line isn't giving him a whole lot of room and maybe MB should be calling for more sweeps or anything that will get him outside..... it just seems that when he does have a chance to make a move he usually makes the wrong move or he's one on one with a tackler and instantly falls down. I'm not a huge Messam fan but clearly tonight he showed that he can at least break a few tackles.... so he *would* of been an upgrade to a certain extent.

As disappointed as I am.... I do sit back and realize that Willy has only a fraction of the starts that Durant has and yet still managed to move the ball much better all behind an inferior o line and an invisible rb. We get a few more pieces (quality o line man and anyone running aside from Fred Reid clone Grigsby) and we win that game easily. Things look good....

Do you think he's getting 6 plus figures with TSN? I'd say he would make quite a bit more coaching in my books.

I still say the biggest difference is the lack of stupid penalties compared to the last few years....

The other receivers were making good catches last week so I don't think it's a big blow for them.

Kohlert doesn't drop passes and is flexible he's good ****.

It was unfortunate that the Blue didn't play a full game against Hamilton... We could of had a quarter of play for Marve or Brohm.

I'm only concerned about getting pressure on Durant. Willy has been able to play with lots of pressure on him before. The whole Sask d line is somewhat over blown with the sack tally since they had something like 9 sacks against Collaros.

What was up with Burris, he was tossing wobblers for the first half. Just a series of awful awful mistakes by the Redblacks. The Riders offense looked sharp... lots of time for Durant to throw. Was not impressed by the Green defense though... outside of the d-line push the lbers still stink. If Ottawa was smart they would of dunked a tonne of more passes to Chevon Walker....

McPherson didn't recover from his injury this is why Calgary let him go

Horrible qb management , Schultz was right for once. Why wasn't Marsh playing? Brink has a very slow release , just send pressure and he's done. Mitchell is slightly over rated but quite mobile and solid at the short passes.

My only gripe is that it would of been good to bounce it out more with Grigsby and to go deep a few times since Kelly had success early on.

Only Nate and a few others were Willy haters. Im a Grigsby complainer... Still not sold on him. I'd like to see more Cotton and or other guys at rb.

Forget not also catching the high snap and getting the punt off.... had he not caught the high ball it would of been an easy 7 for the Tabbies

Big salary guys who are over the hill? Would you not rather the salary dollars going to the young guys who will be part of the team for the next 5 plus years? Did Chicago become a power house purely based on free agent signings? You only pay top dollars for those name guys *if* you are on the cusp of winning the cup and only are missing a piece or two. Do you really think with Vanek signed that the Jets then are among the elite??? Get real.

That's unfortunate for us... hopefully Denmark can step it up and Romby and Willy can get on the same page.
