I heard Derek Taylor on the radio today suggest that the Riders will finish ahead of Winnipeg and Edmonton. The local guys nearly choked on disbelief. I guess some people really do drink the green Kool aid.

It truly is... when we got our 75" tv as mentioned earlier in the thread I was so down on how dim and average the picture looked..... until I realized that eco mode was by default turned on for each input. The moment I turned it to the other vibrant modes it was a massive difference in how good the picture looked.

If the Jets only lose Dano then that's a great expansion draft for us... We already have a bunch of mediocre flash in a pan once in a while young guys like Armia , Petan , Copp , Connor , Etc.....

How so? The team needed a starting QB.... They tried for Burris and Collaros and could not get either. Who else was left for them to go after? Willy also was playing very well before he came to us and the first half dozen games before he started getting killed by a terrible o-line.

Just read the bad news... It really baffles me why one would keep fighting after continuously getting KO'd (specially at HW). As much as the commission is at fault, I think half the blame should be on Hague for going on getting his brains mushed just for really tiny pay cheques...

I listened to Hodge... he did not say Poop Johnson outplayed Ogopogo. He said ^Poop had a solid game, while Okapalaugo was not noticeable. At no point did he reference position or outplaying.

It will be interesting... because I could see lots of people in Winnipeg buying a bundle that sends them to Vegas for 3 days that includes flight, hotel and tickets to the game. Same with other Canadian cities....

This is the only sane post in this thread... I also like when people say Connor is a world class striker... no he isn't. The Kimbo/Brock Lesnar cross over can work because in MMA the heavyweight division is so thin on talent that their may only be 10 really good guys and fringe big men can make it in easily.

Considering the elite in boxing couldn't take out Mayweather... I don't see how a guy who isn't even the best MMA boxer at 155 could take him out aside from a punchers chance.

How so? He has how many professional boxing fights? His only chance is a hope and a prayer that a haymaker connects...
