Stop blaming LaPo for the play calling.... Nichols was running plays that were mid to deep and just froze in the pocket. After he tossed his interception (not his fault at all) it was like a switch and he shut off and could not make quick decisions at all. Our offense was fantastic (despite the play of Nichols after his int) We had great pass protection, great holes for Harris to run. The receivers I didn't see make any drops or miscues. Harris was beast mode YET again and dragged guys for so many tough yards. Whitehead with the 2nd and 19 screen that he willed his way into the first down. Matthews was great when passed to (1st quarter). The only blemishes from the O this game was the terrible penalty from Desjarlais, and the several unnecessary sacks and general play of Nichols after his pick.

This is what really perplexed me.... he was firing on all cylinders and then instantly just screeched to a halt and could not make a quick toss for his life.

I will say the Streveler pic was not a good one, tossed the ball off balance. Rest of the game he had to hand off so can't really say much about it. Nichols looked sensational at the beginning made quick reads and throws.... after the Wolly interception (all on the receiver for that one) and the STreveler pic he vanished. He had time but was way over thinking and because Harris was blocking he had no check downs so he froze and kept getting sacked. Absolutely frustrating that the guy can play one good quarter and then absolutely vanish. Kind of like Glenn back in the Berry days.

Nichols looked so good in the first quarter.... then vanished. Not blaming LaPo either because he kept getting sacked on mid to deep range routes... dude just didn't throw the ball.

So what's the stats on Nichols... it felt like he had 120 yards in the first quarter and 50 for the rest of the game?

Would of been nice to stop them after that penalty....

Jefferson was in the head of Reilly and now Sayles and company completely steam rolled the line

Credit to Nichols for getting the guys to the line and yelling at them to stop hot dogging.

The team needs to calm down as a whole.... O needs to throw deep even if it's 50/50 balls.... Secondary needs to calm down and just cover the man instead of being so jumpy. Also Hecht.... not doing so well today.

I appreciate Medlock for his accuracy and his different types of kicks and spin that he puts on them. As much as Jon Ryan kicks the piss out of the ball... nearly every game they have given up a big return because he out kicks the coverage with his lack of hang time. Also Miller and company have done a great job of wrapping up tackles and avoiding bad penalties.

Agreed he was really bad today. He seems very low on Bryan Little and makes it seem like he's a complete bum on the ice.

First point is wrong... Toronto has a crap defense... Hamilton is/was super easy to run against.... Ottawa was able to put up points against Calgary. Second point I agree with... the guy plays emotional and has way to many ups and down. This is why it might be wise to sit him for 1 - 2 series to calm down when things are not going right.
