  1. Too bad we didn't get to see Boom Massie hit the field. I was buying into the potential
  2. https://calgarysun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/bombers-backups-hang-tough-but-ultimately-fall-to-highly-motivated-lions Bombers coach Mike O’Shea was salty after the loss, even though it didn’t cost anything in the big picture. “I hate losing and we lost,” O’Shea said. “I liked the way we battled, I liked the way we gave ourselves a chance at the end, but frick, we came here prepared to win a football game and it didn’t work out. It stinks.”
  3. What a way to lose at home. Weak
  4. How about that. The shotgun handoff was rope-a-dope, had em right where they wanted them all along
  5. Worst call, so cocky
  6. Science set aside (lol) its not great for already overworked staff at any job to being pulling extra weight to cover for sick and depleted workforces. There is a limit to how much OT and double shifts a person can do before breaking. Okay for now but for how long and what then?
  7. I'm certainly not arguing otherwise. Merely commenting on the kick he gets from spoiling a party at an ex's place
  8. Sure I absolutely agree. He just seems to take it especially personally when playing in front of crowds of teams he used to play for. Taunts and gloating and all that. Really lays it on thick. He did it to us in the OT loss at home when he scored 2 TDs and he did it to OTT tonight. He's a big baby and a sore winner but still a winner tonight
  9. Dom Davis loves being the bad guy it seems. Massive chip on that shoulder
  10. TCB can be better than Brazen without disliking Brazen. It is better than Brazen, though Like way better
  11. Well, no emails saying 'siiiiike' today so I guess we have avoided a strike, at least for now.
  12. Dalton SCHOEN Salary: $7643 7 REC, 162 YDS, 3 TD for 41.2 points! Holy crap that's value. And I sat him in favour of James Butler this week. Sad If you had fun doing this, just wait til Fantaseh or something comparable returns. Nothing beats a proper Fantasy draft
  13. Didn't he leave to pursue a career in the FBI?
  14. The same one that got caught spying on and recording other teams' practices?
  15. I wish I could take credit for something like that hahah
  16. I don't think it's deliberate but a lot of people here (probably due to autocorrect) have been calling Ellingson 'Ellington' I think that's where it came from
  17. https://3downnation.com/2022/10/06/former-cfl-head-coach-mike-kelly-calls-modern-canadian-game-bastardized-nfl-nickel-football/ He claims he was “cross-haired” by “some people” while serving as the head coach of the team in 2009 ‘Be careful now because they have more ink than you have anger.’ The darn media railroading a perfectly stable genius, as usual
  18. Not a jazz fan? Duke Ellington? I see you @bustamente
  19. My apologies, if not for the Dunigan connection it wouldn't have even been worth mentioning anywhere
  20. Feel like its been covered but now I'm doing math to help yall get it 20k (roughly) out of 228k = 8.7% 90k (roughly) out of 750k = 12% For a difference of 3.3%. A full 1.25 x greater. Now I don't know about you but saying Regina has as many or more is demonstrably incorrect. Quibble away, we have more total, more per capita, more more more no matter how you slice it. Winnipeg has the distinction of having the largest urban indigenous population, I won't hear otherwise
  21. We are fortunate to not have needed Ellingson to play a full season, whether or not we expected him to. Our receivers are not missing a beat
  22. Its closer than I realized, but even per capita we have them by a good margin. I don't think thats a bad thing if I'm being unclear lol 😆
  23. I'll take those odds hahaha
