  1. The stadium is where it is because it killed two birds with one stone, not because it was the best location. Saying otherwise is ignorance at best. Willful ignorance in some cases...
  2. If the you put a CoW map on a dartboard, Polo Park would be the outer ring of the bullseye. The city opened up St Mathews to improve traffic flow for the ill-fated Target, they could have done the same for a new stadium on the old arena grounds. You're entitled to your opinion on the new location from 2 provinces over I guess, but try to understand some people here don't like the new location because they think it's a poor location, not because they are spoiled Winnipeggers with the same old Winnipeg attitude. Your Albertan is showing.
  3. I liked the idea of having the stadium near the ex grounds past the downs. Lots of space for parking and easy access to the perimeter would have made driving easy. Slapping in a bike path and a couple pedestrian bridges near Portage and the perimeter would be easy. Oh well maybe in another 50 or 60 years
  4. My anus is bleeding all over Chavez's chest.
  5. Love me some Terrence Toliver at 6'5. Especially if we lose either Gurley or Adams.
  6. Big news today that both Stanley Bryant and Justin Medlock re-negotiated midseason for cap reasons and are now pending free agents. Walters sounded confident they will be brought back, however.
  7. If Scott Milanovich gets fired in Toronto and they offer O'Shea the job, but he chooses to stay in Winnipeg because he wants to be here and because Kyle Walters wants him here, would J5V's head explode?
  8. Are you under some impression that O'Shea doesn't want to be back? I imagine O'Shea will handle this like he handles most things: privately.
  9. I like Diontae Spencer, but we've got our fair share of 5'7 and 5'8 receivers as it is. Cory Greenwood is a beast of a National LB, but why would he leave Ontario...
  10. http://3downnation.com/2016/11/16/cfl-admits-made-mistakes-two-close-calls-ticats-playoff-loss-esks/ Time for the CFL to save money writing new apologies and just invest in a rubber stamp with a blank line for the team name.
  11. That's pretty cool. Lot's of sand in those eyes of theirs.
  12. No kidding. We've heard of coverage sacks. There is such a thing as pressure interceptions.
  13. How many exactly? Twelve? Or is it thirteen? Man, numbers are hard.
  14. It's an attempt at getting the CFL some more exposure. Not that they need exposure in Saskatchewan... I assume it will move around the country year to year.

  16. No, in fact Medlock said he had hit a 70 yarder off a tee two years ago. Who knows where or in what conditions though.
  17. If that hit is going to be called a penalty every time, then I'm probably going to go ahead and take the 15 yards every time. Call it the cost of doing business. It's a shame that a clean hit draws a flag for being executed too effectively.
  18. Great season, capped by an honest effort in a hard fought game... but here we are again.
  19. We need someone better, but you don't know who... great! We are using retreads... if a retread is defined as someone who coached on another team before ours... then aren't all teams using retreads? You want former players given a chance to coach... have you forgotten about Buck Pierce (QB coach), Avon Cobourne (RB coach) and Mike O'Shea?
  20. Let's hope our receivers remember this is football, not volleyball. We can't afford many mistakes either.
  21. I did find it funny that Harris would be protected from injury, but Dressler would go back in after smacking his head hard on the turf. No matter though... health is more important than stats at this point.
  22. I came here expecting to find exactly that haha
  23. Medlock has a shot at a record tonight. I like TDs but I like the Bombers setting league records too. Just good ones though.
  24. Waiting to binge. Looks like my kind of sci-fi.
  25. Ah yes, the age old doomsayer approach to fandom... predict bad things will happen so one can say 'look how right I was all along', but if things turn out nice in the end you get to say 'well of course I wanted them to win all along' super frustrating bro
