I wonder what would happen if Kavanaugh was confirmed and the next day Dr.Ford went to the county that this happened in and filed a police report, would they investigate the complaint and possibly arrest him.

Pretty sure it's too late for charges to be brought.

Same reason as @JCon  Word is, first court challenge will knock it out.  I wouldnt be surprised if someone sets themselves up just to make the court challenge.

Personal use growth should be no issue.  You can make wine and beer and booze at home, no?

Can you make booze at home?

Not disagreeing with your point, but I have this idea in my head that you can't distill at home. I could be wrong.

ETA: Yup. Illegal to distill at home without a very cumbersome license. But the risk of being charged is minimal as long as you don't sell it.

"I recently spoke with someone who asked Nichols about that game approximately a year ago. Nichols told him that he (understandably) didn’t yet have full command of the Bombers’ playbook, saying that he mostly focused on knowing which route Nick Moore would be running prior to each play. "

That Nichols didn't know the Bomber playbook after a year and half does not speak well for his intelligence,

The way I understood this is that, about a year ago someone asked Nichols about his first game with the Bombers, and he replied that he didn't know the full playbook etc. A bit unclear but it looks like it was all about his first game as a Bomber, where we won a Banjo bowl.

I think the implication is he did much better winging it than he did with planning.

can't believe that TW and I were the only ones who picked the Lions to win last week.  Somehow I just knew the Bombers were going to blow it...maybe it's the 42 years of swallowing disappointment...

Still feel worse for taking Sask the prior week.

I think Rogue One tells us people will enjoy a "new" cast film if it tells us a story about the Saga.  We want to see Empire and heroes and a chapter of the story of the fight between good and evil.

I watched Solo again last night and its still boring.  Even as I enjoyed the action scenes, I didnt care about them.  Solo would be a hard story to tell within the Saga.  But they added more vader to Rogue One...they know thats what fans want to see.  Who was clamoring for a Solo film?  We want Obi-Wan.  We want Vader.  Make that movie and its another billion dollar take.

Meh. Still not convinced I want either. I'm not sure the point of either this far into the saga. Show us how the Republic overcame the vestiges of the Empire, how the New Order came to be. More interested in that than a story line that goes nowhere.

I think they're wrong on the last count.  Rogue One made over a billion dollars so its weird to nix these films after one disappointing outting.  The problem was Solo was poorly cast, poorly produced and was a story no one cared about.  Spin off films should support the Saga, like Rogue One did.

For me, Rogue One worked as it fit inside the story line. I've not seen Solo and probably won't until it's on TV because it isn't really part of the story line. I'd be happier to see an animated story telling what's gone on between ROTJ and TFA.

Not sure of the point of an Obi-Wan story and Boba Fett? Really? Why?
