A real fan doesn't bring this kind of national negative attention on the club. Complete asshat in my books. 

They were 15-0-2 against Detroit going back to 2009 so that was a good win for them.  McDavid's game winner was beautiful & Yakupov looks so much better (and happier!) so far this season.  10 points in 3 games between the 2 of them now.

The frequent use of omnibus bills  (there have been 8 or 9 since 2011?) was probably my biggest issue with the Harper government, especially since he was so against them as a member of the opposition.  I very much dislike huge bills that use, in his words, the "kitchen sink approach" to combine completely unrelated issues together. 

It is clear the Doc and Marty messed up the timeline with their trip. Thus we get this reality instead of the one with hover boards, flying cars and the Bombers winning 8 Grey Cups between 1990 and today.

At least they didn't stick a tramp stamp on those things, like they did to the Riders.  That's about the only somewhat positive thing I can say about them.

With the election over, I say we lock this thread and just have a generic "Canadian Politics" one that you guys can derail into petty personal squabbles...

I've got no problem with the quick looks.  It's like a mini-camp or the free agent tryouts they put on.  If they don't show something, you don't waste a spot or time on them & move on to the next guy.

The SUN had a story about Doug Ford being a possibility too.  I didnt even bother reading the story.

I don't think there was any possible result in that election that changes the fact that he's sunk.  The only way the NDP stays in power provincially is if Pallister and the PC's have a huge implosion some how.  It's their election to lose at this point and the popularity of the NDP is so low that Pallister could go around slapping babies and still win.

Are you really quietly moving on though?  You have so many posts like this, where you insult people with differing opinions, yet you are surprised and upset and you get attacked in return.   You could have made the exact same post without the insults and it would have carried a lot more weight.

Yes I am quietly moving on though.  And if I insulted anyone with differing opinions, I roundly apologize. If anyone here who posted blatant lies feels insulted because I called them a liar, I say too bad - you need to accept the consequences if you want to post lies.  As for the being yelled at by imbeciles, I wasn't referring to anyone here (though I see now that it could be taken that way).  I was referring to other boards and Facebook pages I've been on, where the negativity and the anti-Harper stuff is just off the charts.  Sorry if I offended you Bigg Jay.
