Zero sacks for the DL. Same thing we saw last year after Westerman got injured... this isn't a new issue or limited to one game. They can't finish. DEs getting into the backfield means nothing if they aren't bringing down the QB or forcing him into bad throws. Nevis looked good, I agree with that. The rest of the line was totally ineffective. It's really concerning.

Interior looked okay. I'm pretty confident in saying we have bottom 3 DEs though. Oko is as strong as a bull but his jump off the line is pathetically slow. Jeffcoat and Roh are basically the definition of the word average.

Yes but our DEs are not even close to being in the same class as Jefferson and Hughes. That's an issue.

Give us Charleston Hughes and Willie Jefferson at DE and things would improve by a large amount. Our DEs were not looking effective at all and that's not on Hall.

He didn't seem to stand out, good or bad. He was coming out for Cam Judge on passing downs. Sask's DL and outside LBs looked really good so Hurl didn't have to do much.

Riders keep getting away with no-yards penalties. Should have been a couple 15 yarders tonight.

Collaros is 4-15 since returning from injury... including the 0-8 from last season. This is a guy who has never played more than 14 games in a season and never thrown over 3500 yards. He has been in the league since 2012. He turns 30 this year. The OL in Sask is a total question mark. He looked awful in pre-season. Rider fans should be very nervous.

I suspect that we will see a good old-fashioned shootout tomorrow night between Streveler and Mike Reilly. Huck it, chuck it football from the finest QB in the game and the newest. I expect a slow start from Streveler until he figures out Darvin Adams can catch the ball as long as you put it remotely close to him. Then it's Streveler, Adams, Harris all night. Chris Streveler puts up 400 yards, 3 TDs, and 2 picks. Adams hits 200 yards, Harris runs for 120 and catches 60, with 3 TDs. Mike Reilly is forced to put it in the air after their run game proves ineffective against the improved Bomber front seven. Those 15 yard runs he loves to pull off aren't working and Gable is going nowhere. But he's able to find Derel Walker, Duke Williams, and Vidal Hazelton all night... worrying Bomber fans who are getting flashbacks to the last playoff game at IGF. Reilly throws for 350, 4 TD and 1 pick. Streveler drives the field in the last minute and scores, scrambling 25 yards on a broken play for the touchdown. 52-45 Bombers.

Wolitarsky and Bowman are both above average blockers. They will help out a lot. I have visions of Demski dancing through defences as Bowman and Wolitarsky clear the way with reckless abandon. Wolitarsky and Streveler were actually teammates at the University of Minnesota in 2014-15.

I believe that is correct. You can have a maximum of 20 import players. 4 must be identified as designated imports. Say, Medlock, Lankford, Wild, and Flanders. These four players cannot take a Canadian out of the lineup. Now say you start 8 Canadians including Corney. But you still roster both Craig Roh, starting, and Tristan Okpalaugo backing up. Okpalaugo can come in for Corney whenever he wants. But Wild couldn't replace, say Loffler. Lankford couldn't replace Demski and Flanders couldn't replace Harris.
