Archer and Arrested development, the two most over rated shows in history. Not surprising because it seems a lot of the same people are involved. They're mildly amusing shows at best but not worth nearly the hype they get. I maintain that the people who rave about those shows are people who are desperately looking for something to like that isn't mainstream. Does "mainstream" even exist anymore? Our entertainment options are so widely varied that there are very few comedies that I would even consider "mainstream".

Could never get into Community. It was okay, but nothing special, IMO.

I kinda ignored Modern Family for the first few years of its existence but once I gave it a try I was hooked. The writing is awesome and they use all the characters well... not many shows on TV these days give me the consistent laughs that I get from Modern Family. Did anyone else realize that Claire is played by the same actress who was Happy Gilmore's girlfriend? That blew my mind.

NFL Team A says to CFL Team B we would like to sign player C, we will give you $X if you release player C. Without waivers player C is now a free agent and signs with NFL team A instead of being able to be picked up on waivers by another CFL team. At least this is what I can gather from the idea, but don't know the CFL waiver process from the old CBA since teams seemed to release guys to try the NFL before without them having to clear waivers. Yes, yes, thank you.

I had a lot of trouble understanding exactly how the removal of waivers can lead to the direct sale of players. How are the two things linked? Can someone explain it to me, possibly in terms a young child would understand?

Neither Jones nor Howard have really proven enough to warrant a trade, especially for a Canadian, IMO. It would also appear that the Ticats and Lions have more problems on the interior of their OL, rather than the tackles. Also, Jones is on the PR so if another team really wanted him they could probably just try to steal him away. As far as January goes, no chance I would trade him now when it finally appears we have a little stability on the OL.

With how poor Jamie Robinson looked at LB for the Argos last night, I could see them possibly moving a late draft pick or spare part to acquire Banks. The only other team that I would imagine has any interest would be Ottawa but I really can't see them moving much in terms of Canadians or draft picks... maybe we could get Wallace Miles back or something similar.
