Let me simply ask you this .. Knowing the (lack of) quality non-import depth we have along our offensive line .. question marks surrounding Neufeld's durability and Goosen's (and our rookies) ability to make the jump .. do you sincerely believe that Greaves was going to go anywhere? Or is it more likely that a reporter was looking at a scenario .. maybe heard that a few teams were kicking the tires .. and said reporter was simply connecting the dots and then asking question, "Would this make sense?" I'll leave you with that. Do I believe Greaves was going to go anywhere? Yes I do, if Walters received an offer that blew him away. Just being "on the block" doesn't mean "OH GOD SOMEONE TAKE THIS PLAYER", it means conversations were taking place. And I believe they were. Not my fault that you're so desperate to believe that Walters would never do anything that doesn't directly line up with your thought process. Funny how Penton's version is based on sources, which he has proven he has, and your version is based on "this is what I think probably happened."

Truthfully, Greaves was never going anywhere .. that was just a lot of idle speculation by fans .. Kirk Penton Article ... It never made sense Greaves has been one of our best OL for years, rarely gets beat... Again, it was idle speculation with nothing backing it .. and as dependable (health wise) as Greaves has been ... let's not overstate how effective he is .. he is (has been) part of the problem with the interior of our line. Again, Kirk Penton does not invent stories. If he says Greaves was on the block, then he was. No need to play revisionist. Not going to get into it with you .. but there was NOTHING that ever said Greaves was on the block. Teams may be been inquiring .. but he wasn't going anywhere. Hell, the whole Penton article was speculating, connecting the dots with respect to cap conditions and was premised on rumors. "Not going to get into it with you... but here let me go ahead and get into it with you"

Yeah unlike all those other times when someone is on the block and we went to CFL.ca and clicked "Trading Block" and saw their names there. Gimme a break.. anytime you hear someone is on the block it is based on rumours. Choose to believe them or not but Penton has shown he has good sources and he doesn't make stuff up. Maybe teams were inquiring, maybe Walters was inquiring if teams were interested. We don't know... but if Penton says talks took place, then you can take it to the bank.

I usually do 2 or 3 updates per year but I just haven't felt like going with the format the way it is. I like to just relax a few rows up and take it all in and unfortunately can't do that this year so I don't really have any motivation to go.

I read it's only free for a month after you create an account. Well that would be surprising and disappointing. I can't remember how long ago I signed up but I feel like its been more than a month.

Your complaints are noted but futile, this is the way online newspapers and magazines are all headed. At least it is still free and they let you stay logged in so you don't have to log in every time.

The media absolutely LOVED Tim Burke. That really says it all, doesn't it? He's the poster boy for how not to be a head coach.

I recently got back into WWE after like 15 years of not paying attention and its got me pretty hooked. One complaint is that I would like to see more variety in the so called Class-A. I feel like RAW hosts the same matches every week and then Smackdown is essentially just rematches of RAW. There should almost be continual churn between WWE and NXT just to keep things fresh. How many times can I watch Kane and Big Show get their asses kicked? There needs to be more variety.

Personally I've never understood the fascination with injuries. I don't know what fans do with that info. I remember when the Leafs reporter called James Reimer's mother to find out what was wrong with him. And I'm just like.... why does it matter? If he's out, he's out.

What kind of sick individual would make up camp reports? And go through the trouble of ensuring they are mainly factual? Not everything matches up with other reports but lots of it does. The rest can be explained by a difference of opinion.

Exactly. Last time it was 100% made up and obvious he wasn't even at practice. I didn't agree at the time and I don't agree now. The reports never seemed made-up to me.

I don't think it's trolling. I think it's someone with legitimate opinions, and he just happens to be a bit of a jerk. I'm with TBURGESS on this one. Just because the report doesn't match up with the other few reports we've seen doesn't make it invalid.

I'd love to see Stamkos win a cup... you know he's going to win one eventually, maybe this is the year. Chicago might just be too damn good though.
