Around The NHL 2016/2017
I don't think the worst but I also believe that where there is smoke there is usually fire. Now that doesn't mean Trouba won't sign but I do think that if he did have a problem with Winnipeg, it hasn't just disappeared and we'll be hearing about it again.

2017 NHL Playoffs
Rule? There are no rules in fandom, only opinions. Winnipeg is a unique case because we didn't have a team for 15 years. If you were 10 or younger when the Jets left, you probably didn't have much of a connection to them. So those people find a team they like in their teenage years or early 20s and there you go. That's what I did. But as soon as the Jets came back I was all-in.

That's funny because I was thinking how great it is that we limit it to one now.

WHC 2017
Finland has been the most unpredictable international team at every level over the last few years. One game they will look like they should be getting relegated and the next they're knocking out a favorite. I don't know what it is.

Yeah I pretty much agree with this. I see a Kane situation unfolding but with less vitriol... Trouba signs long-term but is eventually traded.

Dave Lozo is a joke and it doesn't surprise me that he's writing for Vice. I am surprised that Vice's sports department actually writes about sports sometimes and not just women's rights and player safety.

2017 NHL Playoffs
Really? I'm more bothered by the people who get a local team and continue to cheer for someone else. Like now that the Jets are back and some people still identify as Leafs/Habs/Flyers fans around Winnipeg.

Apparently Farpoint for the PSVR is pretty impressive. Reviews seem to be mixed but anyone I've talked to that actually played it loves it.

I don't think the team is doubting that. It's more about Trouba's willingness to stay here. I don't believe his desire to leave suddenly evaporated upon signing that bridge deal.

At this point I think we can say Richards was probably a bad pick but I'd say he's got another year to prove it wasn't.

I know, I remembered. I felt kinda bad about it.

Wrestling
Nak vs AJ has to happen. That will be incredible. I actually like that they didn't throw Nakamura directly into a title feud. Too many guys get pushed too hard, too fast. Wrestling is a neverending story, so what's the rush? The slow build is a good approach.

NHL Draft
Sure but do you reach for an LHD if there isn't a suitable one available? I'd say in the NHL it's take the best player available, always. You don't really know what your lineup is going to look like in 2-5 years when that player is ready to step in so reaching for a current positional need is almost never a good plan. If there is a top LHD available at 13 then sure take him, but don't plan to take the best available LHD because then you could potentially be missing out on other great players.

First it was the Kims and now you're a Mussolini sympathizer? Who's next Pol Pot?- Wrestling
Oh yeah the build has been terrible but I love a good Shinsuke match. For all Ziggler's flaws he's still pretty good in the ring so I am expecting a very good match between them at Backlash.- Around The League Off Season Discussion
Well they would probably want two backups and a developmental guy. So that's 7 bodies competing for 5 spots. Seems reasonable to me. I'm not sure the ratio comes into it at this point... there's no ratio in TC/pre-season.- Around The League Off Season Discussion
I think they're planning on starting two Canadian receivers so I guess that's why they seem to be stockpiling them.- Wrestling
Well I'd have to agree with them on that. - US Politics
