Schoen getting healthy and Wilson coming back from the NFL would be two pretty big in-season improvements to the group.

Maybe they can let him run something other than mesh.

Looks like Fajardo drops his eyes when he sees pressure. Ol was overmatched, but some of the blame for those sacks is in him.

A lot of good luck on the last couple plays for the Riders. Looked like a catch, then should have been a roughing (not contacting) the kicker. Killam looked like he didn’t even consider challenging the call.

Not a great throw by the qb and the receiver didn’t help him out. That was on the players. -
We’re just looking for things to complain about if we’re going to pine for Garbutt’s return. He’s just a guy. The other two former Bombers on the Ticat line would help us a lot more. Fox is an actual NT and Sayles is just a good player.

I think he’s been good against the run, but nobody is generating any pressure.

Did he play again after that cheap shot? If he did, that’s a bad decision by the coaches. Can’t have your vets running around trying to hurt guys at the end of a blowout. Really bad message to the rest of the team.   Discipline has been a problem too often this season.

I’m not big on him as a receiver, but do think he can be at a decent returner for us.

Two of his falls were from him trying to contort his body to catch a ball thrown behind him (td & pick). He had a nice 30+ yard return. The last two kickoffs(iirc) were popped up and fairly high and short. Don’t think we started inside our 35 with him returning.

He’s Canadian and we have nobody else better available. I agree he plays too much. Are you really trying to compare the amount of time Vaval takes up on this site to Thomas? I think everyone agrees Thomas isn’t a starter, it’s the volume of the posts that is tiresome.

Vaval’s done. He was already replaced by Case tonight. Hopefully another rec takes his spot in the lineup. Otherwise you’re probably right.

Calgary looks like the best team in the league. Interested to see how we respond against a far weaker team than the Stamps next week.

Still a bad throw. Case corkscrewed himself into the ground trying to get to it.

This is very true in my case. Pre-2019 I had trouble sleeping before big games. Now I only really think about them on game day.

I have no problem bringing in a better player. Who’s out there? Can he snap? He had enough bad ones in preseason that I don’t blame the coaches for not trusting him.

What has Eli done to show he’s better than Kolo? He had some bad snaps in preseason that probably sealed his fate as a backup.

I’m not defending that, nor do I like having 30 dbs/lbs and only six receivers in the lineup. That’s roster mgmt, which imo is different than direct player to play comps at the same position.
