Orridge has done a thorough and complete investigation of the facts surrounding the Noel Thorpe matter and has determined that Thorpe’s purported resignation from his contract with the Montreal Alouettes on Tuesday December 15, 2015 in order to secure a coaching position with the Edmonton Eskimos was invalid based on the terms of his contract with Montreal and the existing by-laws of the CFL. Thorpe is currently still under contract to Montreal and is not free to resign from his existing contract to accept employment from Edmonton, or any other CFLClub, unless written permission is received from Montreal in advance and subject to the current protocol of advance approval from the League office. Commissioner Orridge has also determined that Edmonton did not violate the existing CFL by-laws and will not be subject to any discipline in this matter.

The situation alone is evidence. He didn't just decide to quit and coincidentally get scooped up by Edmonton as finders keepers. I haven't really been following the story on Thorpe and I am not 100% sure on the "Tampering Rules". But if Thorpe talks to Edmonton about a job then quits and joins them is that still tampering? Or is it only tampering if Edmonton goes to Thorpe without asking permission. ...and, along with this, good luck to anyone trying to prove which way this actually happened...

This Thorpe situation is just so different because it's a blatantly lateral move, and there was no attempt to contact the Als for permission to speak to the guy. It's, quite simply, a disgruntled employee looking to get out of a pretty iron clad contract. If you don't say no to this, then why bother having contracts??

The deal is that DJ is taking on the old Danny Tanner role. Essentially she's a recently-divorced single mom, and Stephanie (who became a world traveler) moves home to help her raise the kids, and Kimmy ends up moving in, as well. Stamos (who, I believe, is exec producing) is going to be involved full time, and Coulier will be there a lot, but Saget is just going to have some off-and-on appearances.....from what I've read anyhow. I think a new generation will enjoy it for what it is....saccharine, family entertainment...

Is it on Netflix? I never did watch it.... Anyone looking for an old series to watch, I suggest X-Files, to prepare for the relaunch. Its a tough commitment. A few years ago, when Californication debuted my gf fell for David Duchovney and admitted she had never watched X Files. So I bought the series (and films) and we watched the whole thing. Great series. Nah, using TVMC (formerly XBMC) to stream....

I was bored on Sunday and looking for something to watch, so I decided to start streaming the 90s classic NYPD Blue, from the beginning. I know I watched it back then, but it's obviously been awhile, and man does it ever hold up. I'd forgotten just how great Dennis Franz was in that role...

Did it get mentioned anywhere in here that the 50/50 tickets were not sold exclusively at the game itself? ...Tickets for the game's 50/50 were also sold at the TD MB social on Friday. We thought it was a specific 50/50 just for the social, but it was tickets for the game's 50/50. Just kind of a "pre-sale" on 50/50s. So there were, potentially, a lot of people who had 50/50 tickets that weren't actually at the game itself. So you wouldn't have known the # till sometime after the game...because if you weren't there, it's not like they show the 50/50 drawing on TV, right? So you won't know till they post it online or wherever...

I'm certainly not insinuating anything, one way or another, but that's interesting depending on how much you trust Kyle Walters ability to know what a good coach is.....

I would pay a lot more than 22 bucks to watch in that environment for every single movie. Hell, I'd pay for some kinda "Season Ticket" for that...

I see Twitter already calling for Anthony Allen here, but I'm with Mike...not one person off that list I want.
