Saw that Travers/Rolling Stone gave that new Transformers a 0-star review...extremely rare. Completely unredeemable (irredeemable?)

@IanHamilton45 Scratching St. John means that rookie Dariusz Bladek is the Roughriders' sixth O-lineman tonight. DT Eddie Steele would be No 7 if needed. Yaaaa....that OL's in GREAT shape...........

2017 NHL Off Season
that's what Toews etc are making right now...he'll need to be above that, and he's full marks for it, no question. Kid'll get bank.

2017 NHL Off Season
It'll be a big number for McDavid, but the kid is smart and knows that they need to be able to pay for a team around him. Was just talking to 17to85 about this and saying the likely end number is around 11m/year...

Solving Our Goaltender Problem
Except it's not fair to say "under performing goalies".....the entire team is playing shitty D and giving up way too many high quality scoring opportunities. If the entire team cinches things up, those goalies start looking a LOT better...

Full disclosure: I read that as Justin Medlock came up limping. I have NO idea why.... I completely retract my previous (over) reaction...

....but will still likely play wing.....unless something changes and they move him down to 3C or something, but at this point, he's likely to play wing...

Solving Our Goaltender Problem
I'm sort of inclined to agree on the back-up situation. Two young guys still learning is not ideal for any team. I still don't understand how Hutch's game seemingly (key word) fell apart so quickly...

Solving Our Goaltender Problem
Small minded thinking to say the Jets have a "goaltender problem". Jets have a team defense problem, for sure. Stop giving up so many quality scoring opportunities on a young goalie. Throwing him to the wolves and getting him mind-****** before he's ready....

2017 NHL Off Season
Tough one for me...one of my favourite players no longer in Oilers colours. Damn shame. Add his jersey to the pile of "no longer on this team".....sigh. But, as mentioned, it's a cap move for the Oilers. Also, Strome is a big, strong winger. Physically, the exact opposite of Eberle. Won't be afraid to go into dirty areas. Oilers love players like that...

Regular Season - Bomber News, Developments & Speculation
Honest question for guys who have actually played high level football: Is the consistency of personnel along the DL as important as it is for the OL? They always talk about how important it is for the OL to be comfortable playing next to one another, so you know what the guy is going to do. Is it as important on the DL? Will it take them awhile to develop chemistry, since they're a mostly new group? Or can they get going right from Day 1?

The Expansion Draft
Chris Motherf***in Scoreburn is such a beauty. You just know the room LOVES him. Great team guy that every team wishes they had, on the right contract.
