It's basically who Zurkowski is.....they know it and get it, and just roll with it. It's mostly a "character"...the curmudgeonly old man.

I personally think he hurt himself while playing "obstacle" on one of the returns a couple weeks ago......I don't believe the guy would miss as many kicks as he has lately unless something was wrong, physically.

I found it incredible how often Lankford was being targeted....and yet they still managed to find him almost every time. Not sure if it was called to him every time, or if he was just getting open every time, so they used him....but man, they went to him over and over and over again...

not sure if anyone caught the little old lady who phoned....was maybe the 3rd or 4th caller.........oiiiiii veyyyyyyyyy...........I sometimes host a type of call in show on my station, and she could be any one of my listeners on any given day. It was PAINFUL for me to listen to Irving deal with her, and he was FAR more patient and polite than I could ever be....

Absolutely false....I have never understood this. There was a time, many many moons ago, when the media were the only link fans had to sports teams....that is so long gone, it's not even funny. Wiecek (and really nobody in the media that I can think of...) represents the fans voice....
