  1. So let's say the guy doesn't show well again, gets cut, and is available to us. Is it a worry that he didn't show well? Should we be concerned about his future even at this level?
  2. Don't forget that Szarka was as good or better than Sellers.. That was one of his frequent talking points, too....
  3. Lionguy is generally solid, that dude from the TiCats that hangs around isn't so bad........all Riders fans can get ****** as far as I'm concerned. I know a LOT of people who claim to be Riders fans, and maybe a handful know anything about football. **** 'em all....
  4. that whole area is going to be epic...man I can't wait for that!
  5. I really feel like Denmark can fill that role that Thorpe has been....the "Nik Lewis" thing that's been mentioned here. Adams and Dressler stretch the field, Denmark and whichever NI Rec is out there are reliable "Hands" guys...
  6. Ya, the only real issue I see is our constipation (see: lack of Poop).....whether he's hurt, or whatever, we need that guy rotating in there. Our O/KR will be fine...
  7. https://www.cfl.ca/2017/08/31/stamps-acquire-ol-guy-trade-riders/ CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have completed a trade with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, acquiring national offensive lineman Dillon Guy in exchange for the rights to national defensive back Adam Laurensse, the team announced Thursday.
  8. this was my first thought, too....I wasn't 100% sure he was still with the team, but this made the most sense...
  9. ....and you don't think Trouba should be one of the faces featured.....? ......Unless......................
  10. In my head, Denmark slides into that spot and is the "safety valve" receiver......but we certainly do have options...
  11. The more important thing to note is that we have a larger core of diehards who support the team (with asses in the stands) during LONG bouts of losing (unfortunately) whereas the Riders "fan" base only shows up when it's cool and trendy to do so...
  12. Pretty sure.....but even if it's not......is this really some kind of *BREAKING NEWS* !!!!!!!! kinda story??
  13. I believe that was a joke, no...?
  14. Says you.......for some weird reason, the coaches are disagreeing......
  15. Hearing good things in West Central AB, too......Barley, Canola, Flax, and Peas (among other crops) all showing high yield so far! Glad to hear things are coming off well back home. Here's to high yields and low downtime!
  16. this is a good look into the logic behind this week's (potential) roster: Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming A healthy Weston Dressler is back, 100%, and will play in the Sunday's Labour Day Classic. He missed 4 games — lower-body injury. #Bombers Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming When Dressler was down, running back Timothy Flanders came in. Now? Looks like Flanders sticks, and receiver T.J. Thorpe comes out. #Bombers 13m Why? Thorpe has been v.good, but the overall versatility Flanders brings to the entire LaPolice system on O is too much to give up. #Bombers 12m
  17. ...and the hits just keep on comin'....
  18. Was definitely not closed -- Darren Cameron tweeted this morning inviting fans out...
  19. @Ted_Wyman T.J. Thorpe and Ryan Lankford are not working with No. 1 offence for #Bombers today. Coates is in there for Feoli-Gudino. Flanders still in @Ted_Wyman Flanders has been lining up at slotback today. Could be way to keep him on roster for #Bombers, with Dressler back. Thorpe odd-man out?
