The comment about Ed Tait is apt. I'm not sure if you want to call him a beat writer, but he's the best one in the league, if so. I've long made my fandom known on both this site and the other one back in the old days... The guy is a great writer, he's clearly a fan (which we all love) and he always comes across as a really relatable normal dude. Extremely thankful he's off the NHL beat and covering the Bombers again...

I really liked Begins and thought it deserves a better reputation in history. Also really liked Rises...much more than most. Dark Knight, though....that's about as close to a perfect movie as it gets. Both entertaining and critically acclaimed....Ledger's performance took it over the top. Bale, Caine and Freeman were already crazy good...

there is absolutely zero reason to not love both these signings. To be angry about Neufeld re-signing for any reason, is just ridiculous and petty.

Nolan's Batman trilogy was fantastic.....maybe the last time I've enjoyed DC stuff. I really liked all 3 of those movies and I enjoy the Gotham TV show.....that's about it for me and DC.

Man, DC is a bag of ****. Of course Justice League sucks....I honestly believe DC hasn't made a movie as good as Marvel's worst one. I know everyone gets all hot and bothered over Wonder Woman because #GirlPower, and that's all well and good....but man I didn't like that movie. So boring....it was like Captain America 1, but really really boring. If we can all agree that the worst Marvel movie so far is Thor 2, then I'd put Wonder Woman somewhere around there...

Disagree, but that's fine.......the only real point is that our goaltending was massively underrated last year. Things were not so dire as most would have you believe...

Now, can someone make sure TSN understands that what they're calling "The IGF Leap" (ugh) is actually called The Hardrick Hop...? It's a thing, Goddamnit....the man deserves recognition.

...this...because as much as we want to ***** at the refs, it's on Goosen for not snapping it. Even if he snaps it and it's a fumble, it woulda been whistled down for the offsides...I hope the Riders lose 65-0 (and that would be too good for them) and I hope the Esks/Stamps both look like **** and a whole pile of players go down with non-career threatening injuries, and then whoever goes to the final vs Toronto, I hope both them and Toronto look like complete dog **** and even more players suffer non-career threatening injuries.....every single team and player remaining can go f*** themselves with a rusty fork....Yeah, people are really over-estimating the role of the goaltender. Yes, Helle has been great this year, but he was also WAY better than most thought last year. The real difference is that the team, as a whole, is playing much tighter all around. They're not giving up the crazy high-quality scoring chances like they did last year. Simply put, they hung tenders out to dry a LOT last year, and this year, everyone's taking some defensive responsibility.MOS on D Crew:MOS on Lapo's mid-season extension...my pool is eternally grateful....I've really been enjoying the Menendez Murders on NBC this year.....some really crazy stuff talked about that makes it a bit of a "tough" watch, but it's really good.
